Actino-Iron Fungicide 3 lbs

I bought this for one particular plant in one particular area - about four forsythia had died in this location with stringy white mold on the roots - so this was another attempt to put a forsythia there (I know, who kills forsythia?) so I just planted another one and although all the leaves turned brown and fell off (it is November anyway), the stems look OK. I have my fingers crossed that I will have leaves next year and blooms in the year after. I WILL be back to report if this doesn't work. I did a lot of research to try to figure out what might be killing the forsythia (I have clematis planted in the same place and it seems to be fine and perennials all around with no problem. Only the forsythia died although ninebark 'Diablo' had not liked this spot too well either). I treated as if it was root-knot nematodes which are supposed to be very hard to treat. My only complaint at this point is that the application rate was hard to figure for a single planting. I just dumped some in the hole and mixed it with the soil. I didn't see anything in the formulation that could cause harm from applying too much. At least this time I planted a starter in a four inch pot instead of something bigger and much more expensive.

I have fought a root rot issue with okra every year for 6 years. It would get tall and just start producing in June and late in the month it would start dying. Tried this product in April 2014 and have had okra until frost with no root rot issues. Yippee!

they recommended this but I did not see much lasting results when I used it in conjunction with actinovate . Don't know that I would buy it again. I have fungus issues on my tomatoes, cucumbers and squashes. I applied it at the company's recommendation but I saw no additional beneficial effect.

Mix in with potting soil whenever re-potting container plants. Avocados, sprinkle under the mulch layer, and add mulch back over the top. Best used before temps get too hot.... Then when disease does attack, the plants will be highly resistant to the attack. Outstanding for use on potted citrus.

I bought this for a white fungus that was growing on my squash but was pleasantly surprised to find it cleared up the red curly leaf stuff that was growing on my peaches too! I highly reccomend it. Its very easy to just mix into the soil no sprays or harsh chemicals.

All around awesome product to help your plants feed better and protect them from harmful, competing fungi. Plus they get a dose of iron which greens leaves nicely.

This stuff is greening up a plant that needed major root pruning and started to die thereafter. I thought that I had a throwaway. I am glad I was wrong.
