Batter Daddy Cake Separator

I used to make my own from cardboard and foil with varied results- this works extremely well to separate batters in a sheet cake. There is a secret to getting the line between batters straight- either have someone help you by pouring on one side of the barrier while you pour on the other or pour equal amounts on each side until the batter holds up the divider.

Made of plastic and therefore, needs to be removed before baking....defeating the concept of two different cakes.

I wanted to make a vanilla on one side and chocolate on the other. Looked on Amazon for this, found this one but didn’t ow how much mixing would happen when I pulled it out. Was delighted that very little mixed together. The cake looked very nice with the 2 flavors. Worked really well.

I live alone so this is useless to me. I could have easily made my own.I thought this would clip on to the page but it does not.You need a second person to hold up the device.OR....have to hold it up yourself while spooning in the cake batter.After I got this device, I watched some of the uploaded videos on line.The videos that I saw do not say you need a second person, but shows a second personholding up the device.

batter still leaks under the divider. a little hard to work with
