I bought these a long time ago, but still use it regularly as I bake quite a lot.This works perfectly and has not rusted whatsoever. I do wash it by hand, let it air dry for a bit then wipe it dry and so far no rusting.The only thing I find hard about this is the closed handle. I like to place this in mixing bowl while I'm adding the sugar or flour in because, like any sifter, some sugar/flour will go through while filling it. Since the handle is closed at the bottom, it doesn't sit upright in certain sized bowls because the bottom of the handle gets in the way. Other than that I love using this because it gets sifting done so much faster and the large capacity means I don't have to keep adding more while sifting.

Overall super easy to use. I use exclusively for cocoa powder and powdered sugar. It does a great job with both. The handle is fairly cumbersome with large batches but I usually just place a bin to catch the sifted ingredient and hug the sifter against my belly which is way more comfortable than holding the handle. Like other reviewers mentioned, the funnel shape at the bottom has a lip that tends to catch ingredients but a simple tap tap on the side and it all comes out. Also as another reviewer noted, there is rust already on the threads after a single wash but hasn't effected the use. Overall a good price for the item.

This is a great sifter. I was surprised by how huge it looks. It sifts 6 cups in a minute. I grind my own flour and have tried other sifters. This one did the job in no time. In the past I dreaded having to sift large amounts of flour. Not anymore. One thing, it would be nice if they included a cover. Flour will fly out if you sift fast. I just use a piece of foil as a cover. The sifter is also easy to clean. Just wipe with a dry cloth. Don't use water. I store the sifter in a plastic bag, to be safe.

I bought this sifter because of its large size and it is reported to be all stainless steel. With traditional sifters, I had to load them up three or more times for my scratch baking; and they rusted over time. With this one, everything went into the sifter at once. It performed well and I do not expect it to rust. I gave it four stars instead of five because the handle is similar to handles of many sifters--it is flat and not ergonomically friendly for one's hand. However, even knowing that, I'd probably buy it all over again. After I used this new sifter one time, I got rid of the old one.

Almost too big. But when doing big baking projects, it'll come in handy.The best is that this sifter has a crank. There are almost no other companies producing this style anymore, but it is far superior to any other kind of sifter. Most use a disk at the bottom. Aside from the complication of mechanics, the disk adds surface for residue and trapped clumps.Granted this one is a bit large for precision dusting, but the style is better for that as well. It is a true KIS product: keep it simple.

I have a new stove and decided to make a pound cake. The recipe called for sifting the flour. I had an old rusted hand crank sifter that had belonged to my grandmother and I had one with the squeeze handle. I used the squeeze handle sifter and decided I would never again use it. I ordered this on Amazon the next day and had it in two days. When compared to the squeeze handle sifter, this sifter almost sifts by itself. It is bigger than I expected. I guess I just had not stopped to think about just how much 8 cups is. I would highly recommend this sifter.

Very good result on cookies, cakes, hot chocolate and bread.

This was just what I wanted. It's big enough to make a large batch of cookies, etc.

Love this thing! Big, cleans well, simple components which look like something I can repair if need be. I don't like disposable stuff.
