Hogue 47138 Sig P227 Da/SA Grips, Pirahna G10 G-Mascus Green
I ordered this grip for my 227 SAS because I like the way the G10 Pirahna looks and feels on my 229R. I've seen a lot of people online say that it needs to be cut down because it's too long for the SAS. THIS IS NOT TRUE. It's the same size from top to bottom as the E2 and just a tiny bit wider. A perfect fit. It comes with grip screws AND the bushings needed for the 227 series(which are on backorder from Sig). For myself it is not too abrasive and feels better than the E2 in hand. Both halves lined up and the seam disappears quite nice.

Favorite aftermarket grip
Great replacement grips. Houge make a solid product and this is my third set of aftermarket grips. I put them on a revolver and another Sig model. The Piranha style of grip has plenty of texture and is not overly abrasive for shooting without gloves. I have now used these grips for 3 years and they are the best ones I have found for both style and functionality. The P227 replacement grips are 2 piece and screw into the frame very easily. I elected not to Loctite them in as I have two sets to swap between pending how I want my gun to look. My P229 version was a one piece snap on, like the original OEM grip.

Great upgrade over E2 grips!
These fit my 227 Tactical perfectly. The stock E2 grips are very cheap feeling. Also a bit too small for my hands. These installed easily. Make sure you use some loctite on the screws, and don't over-tighten them or you will crack the G10 like another reviewer. Cracking because you over-tightened the screws is no reason to knock a star. Amazon would probably have replaced them anyway.
