This product is wonderful , super easy to set up and it works with Alexa. I can control these plug from my phone and or Alexa voice commands. IT only takes 2 minutes and its good to go. Great product ill be ordering more.

Used mechanical timers for years when leaving the home unoccupied. A short power failure or two would mess up the timing for all of them, and I never knew when a bulb burned out. Went on a long trip and found ALL the bubs had burned out in my lights set to mechanical timers, so the house was dark for months and nobody knew. Not much of a burglar deterrent.This Vodool Smart Plug solves all of that. I can check the security lights from anywhere to confirm that whatever is plugged in is drawing power, that the time is set correctly, and all is well. The unit does not cost any more than a mechanical timer, and is much more useful.

The plug works but deceivingly and after a lot of screwing around thanks to a very poor manual where as usual words are scarce as if they also cost pennies to make. No, the auto detect mode does not work and there are no instructions on the manual mode. How, on a 2x2 square inch paper. Worst of all, I bought it to turn the USB on and off, the one over the plug, alas it doesn't do that. Also, the picture makes it look much smaller and compact than what it is, too bulky for my needs. Made in PRC.

Seems to be a quality product. I had a small issue setting it up: my router LAN automatically selects 2.4 or 5 GHz speeds, so the Vodool device did not want to connect to my Wifi LAN, thinking that it was a 5 GHz network only. I had to create a separate LAN with 2.4 GHz (with no auto switching), since the device only works with that speed.

I love these outlets. They came on time and in perfect condition. The instructions where very easy to follow and I got it right the first time. I am in my 70's and not very tech savvy. Usually I have to call my grandson for help. Now I don't have to walk into a dark room to turn the light on, I just asked google to do it. I would recommend these outlets to everyone.

They were simple to set up and work as advertised. I did have some confusion when selecting the correct app on my ipad; there is another app with a very similar name to the Smart Life app. I downloaded the incorrect one at first, ultimately found the correct app and was easy to set up. Also set up the app on my Android phone. Very intuitive to set up. I'll be getting another pair.

We bought a pack of two. It took a about 15 to 20 minutes to set up the first (we had to download an extra app for the iPhone) and less than 5 minutes to set up the second. It took a few more minutes to add both to Google Home. Now everything is working - we can use the app to turn on or off the lights, or give google home a voice command to do the same.

I've only had these for a few days, but I'm very impressed! The set-up was much easier than my other Wemo and TP-Link modules. The plug is fairly basic, but the Android software is MUCH more robust and useful with the Vodool(includes amperage, wattage,voltage etc.). As long as these hold up over time, they will easily be my favorite of the three.

I have been wanted to get an affordable smart plug that would be able to control room lamp and works with google home or android alexa. The Voodol smart plug did the job nicely. The thing that I liked more about this smart plug compared to other smart plugs is its small profile and the position of the electrical outlet prongs. As you can see in the pictures, the position still allows me to use the outlet below, which is usually blocked by other plugs made by other companies. It also has a usb port on the top which I find useful for charging smart phones.Setting the device up was relatively easy and price is affordable. Been using this for a couple of weeks and have had no problems so far.

I love this smart switch so much! Since I do not have alexa I downloaded app on my phone and I set the timer for every day when it should switch off on its own. Therefore I can have my romantic lights on in my bedroom and when it is time to go to sleep I do not need to leave my comfy bed everything is regulated through my phone. Item is as described and set up was super easy!

Instructions are terrible. Finally get it working correctly, but then it loses connection after a few months not a wifi issue). Go to re-pair to the app, can't find it. Keep trying over several days, finally get it paired, it works fine, then stops weeks later. Repeat. Just unreliable.

I really love this device, I am currently using it with a free app and have it attached to my garden lights in my backyard. It's perfect because this makes it so much better than manually plugging in and unplugging the garden lights.

The construction is solid, plastic is high quality and the app works great. Pairing the device and using the app is simple. My only complaint is that the plug is bulky and will block adjacent slots on a power bar (not an issue if you plug it into the upper slot of a standard power outlet)

NO Alexa or google home just a light I was considering getting the clapper to fix. Given I have many humans the clapper would have drove me nuts. Instead here I am. Easy set up and scheduling feature make it review worthy.

Intermittent, turns on and off at random as if it’s shorting.**Update**- upon advising the company, they were exceptionally quick to respond and ship out a new one. Thank you! Great company to work with :)

This smart plug has wide coverage and the signal is strong. It works perfectly fine with my Google home and now I can use my Google home to voice control my lights. This is so much better than the old smart plug that I had before where its signal dropped consistently.

Good overall. Would have preferred if it had a smaller footprint so that the second socket is not covered and made unusable.

Used for couple of months, it is not working now. The cell phone can not connect to the smart plug, tried to reset the smart plug factory default, but it seems can not be reset too. Can I get a new one or do a refund for me?

Takes a bit of work and patience to get them set up, but worth the price. Better than most smart lightbulbs so we are very pleased.

Can't even get a proper verification code. Tried 6 time's now and each time it says wrong code. Total BS

One of my most satisfying purchases ever. Timed it to turn on light in the morning to wake me up gradually without any alarm and also switches on the charging station for my MacBook, iPhone etc. Prevents overcharging.

Easy to install and start using right away with Google Assistant. A lot cheaper than the other brands.

Neat device for out of reach plug ins and great for christmas tree.
