These limiters are good to have for your drop irrigation system. Use them even if the drop system does not specify

The threads on this item were so bad that I couldn't get it to screw into any of my fittings without spraying water all over ...even with pipe tape. Its total junk. I would have returned it but for as cheap as it was it's not really worth bothering with for me. Also i found out from another amazon reviewer that those ball valve splitters ( Gilmour 13 Brass 2-Way Connector  ) are the way to go as you can simply turn the valve to adjust the pressure and have true control a range of pressure until you get to your desired one for your needs. So this item really is obsolete plus its made of plastic where the ball valve type splitters are made of solid brass. Hope this helps someone avoid ordering something they didn't even need like i did.

I have a drip irrigation line for some trees in my property. With the street water pressure the drippers flew out of the hose. This product solved the problem, and it has been working great for 1 month.--- update ----Still working after 4 months.

You MUST check that you buy the right THREAD.3/4 Pipe Thread {as is this model} DOES NOT fit 3/4 HOSE THREAD.If it is to fit your garden hose, you need to buy 3/4 Hose Thread.They look exactly the same, read carefully.Secondly, I do not know why the have a tinny weep hole, that allows a drip every 30 seconds.I removed mine, and replaced it with a similar regulator, for RV's; made of brass.No drips now.

This Regulator should not be used in the USIt has British threads and will not fit correctly!

The pressure regulator is leaking by the top through the thread even though there is a washer. 3/4" connectors are supposed to be standard without leaking. I tried different solutions until I got a flash of genius (!): I used white teflon plumbing tape to seal the thread that normally we don't use with garden hoses. For those who don't have any plumbing experience: you have to wrap the spigot in the same direction that you scew the ring, that is clockwise. And the leak disappeared!

Does what it was intended to do.

Product leaks from a hole and doesn’t work properly. Save your time buy something else. I promptly returned

We tried to install this piece to slow flow to our timer. It broke on the first attempt. The interior is a series of different size plastic pieces one of which fell out.

can not get tight enough on both end to stop leaking will not buy again
