I wasn't sure what to expect from this product -- I was afraid of overkill just because we have so many building toys -- wooden blocks, legos, Lincoln logs, builder sets, etc. I bought it mainly because I wanted to give my 4 yr. old some extra fine motor skills exercise. There were many versions of this kind of toy out there (some much more expensive for fewer pieces), but I found from comments or after requesting more information that there wasn't too much resistance in the pieces on many versions. This particular product had a few comments that described decent resistance, so I gave it a shot. I am very happy that I made this purchase! Not only did the set come with a nice drawstring bag for storing the pieces, the pieces themselves are well-made and feel substantial in your hand. The resistance on them so far is good, giving my little one's fingers and muscles a workout as he tries to snap them together and pull them apart. Also, despite our many other building toys, these were a hit with the kiddo. They fit together in a fun way, and he loves all of the bright colors. I have noticed a little lessening of the resistance as we've contitued to play with the pieces, but not too much. Overall, a great toy for fun and fine motor skill development. A great value considering the bag and number or pieces too!

I didn't pay attention to the size before I ordered then, and I'm glad! These things are super small. I'm not sure I would have ordered them had I noticed ahead of time. However, they are great! My 5 and 1 1/2 year old sons play with them in the bathtub (they float) happily. My 5 year old picked up on how to make some awesome creations within half an your, and my 1 1/2 year old loads them in and out of his boat and takes creations apart happily! Great purchase!

I bought these for my 2 year old twin daughters. I gave it four stars because I wish the size was a little more apparent and it is very misleading about how much finger strength is needed to attach and pull them apart. Contrary to what the baby in the picture leads you to think, these pieces are too difficult for children under 3 or maybe even 4 to play with. When I got these, I was very disappointed in the size. so much so, I nearly sent them back. I kept them because I have a an 8 year old who gets good play time with them. i found some that are much bigger, and I will be purchasing those for my little ones instead.

I’m so mad!! The add picture is very misleading!! These came up in toddler blocks! Section!!! I purchased for my two year old grandson for Christmas. These are so tiny!! A little bigger than a quarter! Very hard to put together! Not safe for children under 4!! They are Chocking hazard! I’m more mad at myself for not looking at each picture before making my purchase. But they are still a lot smaller than the pictures. I thought they were the bigger ones like at daycare. I gave them to my two 5 year old granddaughter’s and they were unable to snap them together. They are very bright in color and come with a nice bag.

These are much smaller than I expected, but then again, I didn't get a ruler to find out how small they would be. That's on me.I received 123 pieces. So more than described.However, even with the three extra pieces, I expected an even number of colors. 15 of each color = 120.I think the conveyer belt is broken in this factory.Here's the amounts of what I did receive.23 Brown18 purple18 green17 red14 blue13 pink10 orange10 yellow.As another reviewer said, I will let my 2 yr old twins play with these in the bathtub only until I know they won't be consumed.These are fun to push together and pull apart.Great for fidgety hands, too. I only docked them b/c even and equal number of colors makes more sense than what was sent.

I looked at the pictures of the these and was buying this for my 2 year old g-daughter. The pictures are of course enlarged and I in my haste was thinking they were the larger ones ...so got them for her. Uh...oooops..til I got them and saw that they are a LOVELY choking hazard. Make sure you READ the description..they are not very big and DEF not for little ones that would put in their mouths. All in all though they do look to be quite sturdy and at SOME point she WILL get to play with them (if her other siblings don't confiscate them first hahaha). They are colorful and well made so i would recommend ,and the bag makes it nice for keeping together (for awhile...you know how THAT goes)or for traveling, motel..camper in the car (these are GREAT as they are small and don't take up a lot of space ). Toss in your luggage for traveling. Any way..remember SIZE DOES MATTER ;)

Bought these for our grade K-8 after-school daycare. Only one day of play so far and I have many students BEGGING me to buy more so everyone can have enough! Just ordered 2 more sets. Students from every grade were playing with them and creating so many different things. Definitely a fun, manipulated toy. The college students who come to help out loved them, too. Also, the bag is perfect for storing the product. I'm picky about what I invest in for our day care and these are definitely worth the cost.

These items are much too small for preschool children. I was disappointed at how small these "building blocks" are which was not clear as these are marketed for preschool children. Preschoolers sometimes put toys in their mouths and often have fine motor skills that need help developing. A larger size "building block" would be more effective for this age group. A larger block would be more appropriate for the children I wanted to give these blocks to.

Great toys for all ages. Kids to grandparents.Can’t help but play and build.Colourful and uses imagination.
