Stretchy, easy to install
At first I was like, the instructions aren’t very lengthy. Well, honestly the instructions are sufficient. The laces are stretchy. I installed them the normal way I would put regular laces on the shoes. I had my son put them on, and adjusted them until they were comfortable and locked into place. I cut out the excess and used their little lock tool. That’s it.I like that if these stretch out, you can take some time and re-adjust. The shoes now become loafers and you keep the ability to readjust the shoe.Kids, even Kids that know how to tie their shoes, are running around all day with untied shoes. My child is able to tie his shoes, but because keeping your shoe tied doesn’t seem to be a requirement at school, he kept coming home with shoes untied. I just can’t stand it. Call me a helicopter parent if you like. I enjoy technology and why not keep peace of mind that his shoes are tied all day? In my opinion this is great.Downside:Installing the round piece strained my fingers a little. If you have arthritis you may need help for the step of putting the laces through the round lock. You need to squeeze it and then take each lace and pass it through a small opening. The second lace was harder to thread than the first both times.

Works Well, Great Price
My husband tried a pair first as he walks for exercise and wanted to be able to easily tighten his shoes when walking at a faster pace when exercising than just plain everyday wear. He really liked how these laces worked. So when I bought new walking shoes, I decided to try a pair as well. I wanted them more for ease in putting my shoes on as I can't bend and cross my legs as well as I used to be able to do. They have done the trick for me in making the on/off job a lot easier.

Secure
1st time using this type of shoelace. I am unable to comfortably bend to tie shoes. Finding good slip on shoes is difficult. These allow me to buy good sneakers and convert them to slip ons. They were easy to install and the directions were easy to follow.

Great laces, very convenient!
These work as advertised, and are very convenient. The only complaint was on a 30+ mile hike through Ireland, the little clip at the bottom of the leftover lace (which tucks under/among the criss-crossed laces) broke of somewhere on the hike. We had to tie a tight knot in the bottom of the remaining length and tucked those into the laces. No other problems with the clip on the other shoe, and that's not a big deal given the miles and stress we put on them! "

Another thing that makes my life easier
Having arthritic hands and a heart condition, I am out of breath just tying my shoes. These laces are just one more thing that made my life easier. I had no problem lacing them up. I even had no problem fitting them through the lock button. Once I had them the way I wanted them, I cut the laces leaving a little extra length for any needed future adjustment then did a quick burn on the end of each lace before putting them in the lock clips. This keeps the ends from unraveling inside the lock clip and prevents the clip from falling off. It's so much easier to just slip on my shoes rather than tying them and no longer do my shoelaces come untied. Pretty dangerous for an ol' fart like me with balance issues. Step on an untied lace while walking and over I go. I suspect that these no tie laces will last longer than regular laces that wear out from being pulled and tied day after day. I can't speak to longevity yet, but as of right now I highly recommend them.

They can be adjusted even after you snap them together!
These shoelaces are soooooo cool! And they are forgiving--I thought I had both ends of the shoelace secure in the part that clips them together, well I had one lace come out. I thought I was sunk when a friend looked at it, pressed the little tab in the part and it opened up! The mechanics of the part allowed me to have a re-do! That's a good product when you can make adjustments instead of a one and done item.

Convenient no tie shoelaces
These look good with my black and white shoes. The directions we're pretty easy to follow. The only problem I had was pushing the button down while threading the laces through the lock button but I have arthritis in my hands. I managed to do the first one and then my husband was able to do the second one without any problems. Once it was threaded through I had no problems adjust how tight I wanted them. You trim the laces off to your desired length and put a clip over the ends. I really liked this because you aren't left with long shoelaces flapping around. I threaded the laces under where my shoes are paced up and placed the clip below the bottom lace so I still have lots of room to make adjustments. So far they are working great. I haven't walked far in them but walking around my house they don't seem to be getting loose. I posted a picture to compare the traditional lace with the no tie lace. I'm think the no tie one looks better and it is more convenient.

A Godsend for the elderly !
Prior to learning about these shoe laces, it was a day's work just tying my shoes. First of all, the elasticity in the laces offer more flexibility when bending your ankles, so as not to make your shoes so tight that they're uncomfortable, the caps that hold the ends of the laces together, and tuck under the bottom lace, eliminates the chance of tripping over your shoelaces, if they become untied, and finally, all you need to do, is slip your shoe on, and slip down the clasp, eliminating having to struggle in order to tie your shoes. I've only had these for about a week now, so we'll have to wait and see how long they hold up. At the present time, I couldn't be happier, and I predict, that I'll be ordering more of these in the future.
