An appealing, uplifting sequel to 'Joy Came in the Morning'. Opens a window into Sierra Leone's modern Freetown society. Well worth reading.

A delight to read!
I finished reading the book in two straight sittings of three hours each. Yema Lucilda Hunter’s books are always so readable! Loved the ease with which she penned down the heartfelt prayers and speeches uttered by various characters in the book. Best of all is the deft manner in which she dealt with the thorny matter of traditional vs. ‘born-again’ churches. So non-threatening & yet most educative! This is very useful and helpful for the public which is often confused by the apparent difference.I very much enjoyed reading 'Nanna'. I found it had much depth. It is packed full of African culture, along with a dash of Western culture too. Altogether, a delight to read!
