ProDen PlaqueOffTeeth & Gums Capsules 140 tablets | For Human use | Bad breath, Plaque, Tartar

I have bought these for a few years now and they are really good at reducing the plaque on my teeth.

Well, lol this is a review i was almost positive i did not think i would find myself writing, but here i am and i have to say at least for me, these do infact get rid of plaque. Allow me to elaborate on what i mean though by "gets rid of plaque". if you are expecting them to make your choppers miraculously pearl white, then you have too high an expectation of what this does based on my own interpretation at least, and you also don't understand how plaque worksI've been taking this for a little over a month and i have definitely noticed a dramatic increase in the ability for me to remove plaque via none dental hygenist intervention means (ultrasonic descaling for instance)it literally sloths off with every brush.so, it seems its method of action is it decreases the ability for plaque to attach itself to dental tissue, or that is at least how it seems to me. I had really stubborn plaque that was on my back bottom teeth that had accumulated into calculus and after having been taking this stuff, it is chipping away throughout the day and coming off big swathes when i brush and oral irrigate(i don't floss as i found it just seems to make me more prone to gum disease contrary to the recommendations of my dentist)this is very surprising as i haven't come across anything else and especially not a supplement that had such a dramatic effect on plaque build up at home. Not a toothpaste, mouthwash, dental tool, nadaBeen trying to look up studies in relation to this specific form of algae/seaweed and they are mostly studies done with dogs and the method for which they suspect is responsible for the action is not explained. Hmm, gonna have to do more diggingI am definitely recommending this though solely from my own experience..your mileage may vary as always

I really didn't expect this to make any difference and now that I can see it has I wish I had taken before and after photos. I just didn't see how taking a supplement of seaweed would really affect placque on my teeth. One lower one in particular. Yet here I am to say give this a go if you have similar issues as this really has made a difference. There was a noticeable difference during the course of one box / bottle. I haven't had to purchase a second one but wouldn't hesitate if the need arose.

Like many people, I started giving the pet version to my cat on vets advice. I noticed there was a human version and having a sensitivity to ultrasound I thought it worth a shot to avoid the agony of the deafening ultrasound in the hygienist's chair. I have just ordered my 5th bottle after visiting the dentist yesterday and again being told I was 'doing such a good job' and so did not need to visit the hygienist. I actually told my dentist about the tablets and he is now interested in finding out more. OK they may not be for everyone. They may upset your digestive system if you intolerant that way and they may not work for your particular make up but I would recommend them to friends and family without doubt.

I ordered the product for some extra help in my ongoing battle against plaque and periodontal disease. Expensive toothbrush, floss, interdental brushes, waterjet, mouthwashes, gels, special toothpastes... you name it, I use it 3 times daily.I must admit I was very excited and hoping it would work.Stupidly, I only checked the ingredients a few days after I started taking the supplement. The name ascophyllum nodosum didn't mean anything to me, but the fact that 2 capsules provide 140% of the recommended dose of iodine did - I am already taking extra iodine from kelp supplements.So I checked the ingredients of my kelp tablets and guess what: ascophyllum nodosum is actually kelp. And my usual tablets cost 1/10th of the price of PlaqueOff. Quite a waste of money...Does it give results? I can't say for sure, I stopped taking it after 5 days as I don't want to overdose on iodine.However, I have been taking 3 times the amount of kelp that PlaqueOff provides daily for the last 2 years and I can't say I have seen any improvement on the health of my teeth and gums. So probably not.Oh well, another product that sounds too good to be true...

I came acros this product by accident and decided to buy it for my Mum as she has bad gum diease for many years but lost one tooth this year and had said to me that many of her teeth were feeling loose. She would always complain about her teeth feeling numb, that she couldn't eat certain foods (and the list was getting longer as the years went on) and hot and cold foods were a nightmare. She is now on her second box of these tablets and she hasn't complained about numbness once. She says that her teeth feel cleaner and that they feel more settled. This change did take three or four months to achieve and they are rather expensive but can you really put a price on your teeth?

This is my original review and I'd rate the product higher now that I've used it for over a year: Originally I used the canine version for our dogs. I decided to try the human version after I heard the improved dental reports from our veterinarian . My dentist thinks I've improved my oral hygiene, but I think it is from using this product.This product works to minimize plaque.I am not a fan of the bubble packaging. I hope someone keeps providing access to the product. When I initially ordered Plaqueoff it was from somewhere in Scandinavia, then Amazon UK and then I had a brief period I could not find it.If you are looking into this product and have dogs, please at minimum invest in it for your pet's health. Of course buy the loose animal version.

First bought this product for dogs, on recommendation of a family member. It worked great on our dog's teeth and breath. Because of that I wondered if it was formulated for humans, as I had developed dry mouth and thought it might work for my silva problem. Found the Human version and started taking it after asking my family doctor, due to my thyroid issue. Was going to the oral specialist about every three months to have the amount of silva production measured, but was out of state and had to wait longer to see my doctor. So after trying the human version for several months, my specialist was impressed with my last test results and told me to see him again in six months. Human Plaqueoff, so far is still working well and especially at night, my tongue does not stick to the inside of my mouth. Also, the yellow stain in my teeth along my bottom gum line, appears to have lightened a great deal. I am so very thankful this product is available, as it has helped me a lot. I no longer have to take a perscription drug just because one of it's side effects is extra saliva production. Plus my doctor, as I understand is the top Oral specialist in the USA, he seemed impressed with my results. If it continues to help me, he may recommend it to help others, also.......I take one capsule in the morning and one at night.

I first encountered this product while working as a vet in the UK. Seemed like all the owners I complimented for having pets with good teeth were using it (the pet version). I investigated and started first my pets, and then myself, on it. I've also had good success with it in clients' dogs with severe pocketing and gingivitis where dentals alone weren't keeping them under control. Like everyone else mentions, it does take a while to kick in and can take even longer to see the full benefit but it's worth it. There are other products out there that do the same thing but this is easy to incorporate into your normal routine and effective. Plus, can't beat that it's all-natural. And P.S. - my own dentist complimented me on my improved dental hygiene without knowing what I was doing differently ;-)

I bought this because my dentist was telling me that I was bordering on the line of gum disease. I've taken it for 6 months and recently had my cleaning appt. Although they didn't verbally tell me anything, like whether my teeth were improved or not, I could tell they barely had to do any scraping. Just a lil' bit between the teeth. I'd say that's a DEFINITE improvement.This is what my routine is like: I take 1 pill in the morning and 1 pill in the afternoon. I floss everytime I brush, and on top of that I add a drop of tea tree oil to the toothpaste. Once a day (at night) I rinse with ACT mouthwash. It might sound like a pain, but really the only additive in the normal oral hygiene regimen is taking the pills and adding the oil to the paste.I also reccomend to take the pills with milk or some other flavored beverage. It masks the taste of the actual pill. If I just take it with water I can taste it... and if you burp afterwards you taste it again. LOL

Hope it does as advertised.0
