It is fabulous I am not sure why I didn't think of this sooner. I had been using magazines and newspapers etc instead. I have a swivel base for my lap top and now I can swivel it around so much more easily.. It didn't come rolled up so it was flat to begin with instead. I saw another one that was less expensive on Amazon but I am so glad I opted for this one. I recommend this to anyone who needs one. The size I have is perfect for my lap top (15 inch screen). However the mouse still has to be used next to it. There is very little room for the mouse so depending upon how big your lap top is it may or may not be enough room with this size.or just use a mouse pad. My mouse does not require a pad so it is fine.You can purchase a larger size pad of this brand if you want your mouse to be used on it as well.

When I ran across this "Kangaroo" pad on Amazon looking for another mouse pad It was instantly apparent that this is the one. I ordered it. It looks great and matches my mechanical blue back lit keyboard. No gaming here, I just like everything to work and have a good appearance. It will be quite durable with some simple care undoubtedly. The Hyetek TM people are very conscientious and are working hard to succeed. Specialty items may cost a bit more than other related pieces but it costs a lot from a dollar and enthusiasm standpoint to produce limited quantity items like this. Love these as I prefer the soft mouse pads over the hard surface ones. I ordered a medium, just under 10 x 14, three or four months ago. It's holding up well and mouse action is excellent. Liked it enough that I bought the large to use with a different computer. It could be a bit thicker, it's about 1/8" thick, but that's not enough to lower my rating. Haven't washed either of them yet, we'll see how they hold up to that.

Its a really nice pad, the stitched edges should prevent fraying and wear, but only time will tell. It provides a nice surface for your keyboard, mouse, your forearms and wrist. I bought two, one is being used with my main desktop PC. The other is being used with my work laptop PC. I have a habit of leaning on my elbows on the table top, now I can rest on the cushy extra large pad with a lot more comfort.

I like the braided edge and the graphic design on this, but a couple things bothered me about it.1. it was packaged horribly. it came in a box too small for it, so it was crammed in and ended up being wrinkly. I have stacked books on it for a couple days and while improved it still won't lay flat.2. it seems a lot thinner than I expected it to be. This also might contribute to its refusal to lay flat perhaps.

Pros:-nice soft feel-extremely flexible and does not keep a shape if rolled up-fits home and travel needs-nice subtle but detailed design is something you can show off-sown edge is perfect to prevent any kind of tearing or fraying.Cons:After a month of use at home and travelling I have not experienced any consOverall: This is a fantastic item that I would highly recommend

I use it with a Roccat mouse. It's the first mouse pad I've owned since moving away from ball mice to laser/optical mice. The pad is consistent and hasn't given me any issues. It's nice and smooth making the movement much better than just using the table top. I bought a fairly large one too so I never run out of space.

I like this pad, but one edge of the mat is starting to curl upwards. It's pretty annoying. I've only had this a few months, and that's something that should not be happening.
