Ikkco Dark Walnut Buffet

It's a nice piece of furniture and it was fairly simple to assemble. Unfortunately, the package arrived with some damaged items. The fixed shelve 'part E' was cracked in the front - but such that I was able to apply wood glue and stain. It is not noticeable now. The Top Panel, probably due to humidity and the way it was stored has about 1/4 of an inch of warp from front to back. As a result, I was only able to fasten the front and center camlocks. Visually, the unit doesn't look bad and is very solid. I'm still considering whether or not to contact the seller to order a new Top Panel.. The challenge with ordering these dissassembled units is that you don't typically discover issues until it's well assembled. Having to dissassemble and repackage to return...is painful.

I was a bit skeptical after reading some of the reviews regarding this item. After looking at several similar items online and at the local furniture stores, this was the only one that met the height requirement that I was looking for, so I went ahead took the chance and ordered it. It did arrive in two separate boxes, quite heavy actually. It took my husband and I right at 2 hours to put it together. Everything else went together well, the only problem was trying to get the doors on. It took a few trial and error and adjusting the hinges to get the doors on just perfect. As a few of the reviews did state that there were some warped pieces, we did not have any issue with our piece. It does seem to be quite sturdy and quite heavy for something that we had to put together. It looks great in our dining room and matches our pub height expresso dining table. We are very happy with this purchase.

It was very difficult to put together. Some parts arrived defective and we had to order replacements. They arrived quickly, but the wood was warped which made it even harder to put together. It finally got wrangled together and it looks fine, but it required more work and time than it should have. I almost considered sending it back unassembled but that would require more cost, time and effort that I have to spare. I am not sure it will do well if it ever needs to be moved from where it sits. But it looks nice.

Didn't realize it came unassembled and the assembly instructions were a nightmare! Took 2 people to assemble and re-assemble several times until we got it together correctly. Looks good but would not have paid this much had I known it was RTA.

After some confusion with two different hinges, I finally got it assembled and the doors aligned. There was a minor split in the wood, but thankfully it's not noticeable. All in all, it's a great piece for the money. Just be aware that the 2 packages of hinges are different. I would purchase it again.

We were very skeptical while ordering this because there were no reviews available for this. We are very pleased after the purchase. The order arrived very quickly in two large boxes that included a detailed instruction manual. The instruction manual was very clear and detailed. All the screws and tools were clearly marked and it was easy to put it together except for the doors. It was a bit cumbersome to align and fit the doors but with a bit of trial and error it fit perfectly. The buffet is sturdy and well built, a tad bit heavy but good. The shelves have good space inside to hold sufficient china. All in all very pleased, a good buy.
