NestleKit Kat Chunky (Pack of 24)

I can't stand the horrible taste of American Kitkats so I wanted to order some that would taste like the ones I had back in the UK. I tried other ones from Amazon as well but these were by far the best. They taste great, arrive fairly early and are cheaper in price. I have ordered this product a number of times. Each time it has arrived well before the estimated date, never melted and only once a few pieces were cracked in the middle (though it was not a crumbly mess). These are delicious, just like I used to have them in the UK. I am very pleased with them.

Love the taste. Just don't order them in warm weather. The last batch were completely melted and even when they hardened the taste was spoiled. Some had a white powdery look. Still ate them but waiting until October to order more.

The standards of chocolate in the US do not compare to Europe & other countries. Nestles UK is far the best I've tasted. The Kit Kat Chunky has more wafer and crisper taste. You'll never go back to regular US chocolate after eating this!

Being from the US, I read about these Kit Kat Chunky candy bars in a book and was intrigued- I am a huge chocolate lover and I do like the regular Kit Kats. Yes, these are very, very good and they have all the ingredients a regular Kit Kat has but it just tastes different. I think the chocolate is different- maybe it's just US chocolate versus UK chocolate? I'm not sure. I didn't like the chocolate any better or any worse than my US Kit Kat, it was just different, and only mildly so. I will say this- it was a huge chocolate taste compared to my little, 4 bar wafer Kit Kat and I do like it better. The thick wafer wasn't too much wafer either, although it looks like it might be. Nope, the chocolate taste is definitely the overriding flavor of this treat. Yes, 24 bars were a bit much for me but it was fun to share with my friends and family who also hadn't had this version of the Kit Kat. It gets 4 stars as it was a good but not 5 because it didn't completely wow me- there are still better candy bars out there (Snickers or Reeses Peanut Butter Cups would still be my first choice).

Kit Kats are among my favorite sweet treats, and I bought these after reading that the British version is...better...than what we get here in the US. Certainly, though, that is a matter of taste. And to me, the taste is off. There is sort of caramel-y character to the sweetener, as if they are made with palm sugar rather than cane, for instance. Not bad. Just not better to my taste buds. Each time I bite into one, it makes me really long for a replacement from the corner store.

ALLERGY ALERT - I purchased these because they were listed as being imported from Canada, and I know that Canadian Kit Kats are safe for my daughter, who has life-threatening allergies to nuts. We were dismayed to find that the items were actually NOT Canadian, but from UK. If not for the allergies, I wouldn't care which country they came from, but because of the allergies, it is absolutely crucial that we have the correct version of the product. I have sent an email to Amazon, and if we receive replacement with the correct product, I will amend my review to reflect that - but today is Christmas, so I am not expecting response right away.

Candy is good, but completely melted in the summer heat by the time it arrived.

Oh how I have missed these!! American versions are terrible and now you can’t even get chunky kitkats here, shame because they are the best kind and the only kind I’d eat.The arrived as advertised, 24 total, packaged in 4 bar packs. Just about to order some more!I don’t understand the negative reviews because they aren’t Canadian, it says the seller and shipped is SimplyBritish. Dead give away they are the UK version 🤷‍♀️
