HeddonSuper Spook Topwater Fishing Lure for Saltwater and Freshwater, Florida Bass , (7/8 oz)

I do a lot of bass fishing in Florida. Many times I'm not convinced that a name brand is better than a lesser known brand. However, when it comes to the Heddon Super Spook, there is just something about it that gets fish. When I'm kayak fishing, there is limited space and you have to pick your lures carefully. This one makes it in the box every single time. Performs incredibly, the hooks are high quality, exterior holds up forever etc. As a typical fisherman, lures seem to accumulate 😂. And I do love ttowater fishing.. The Heddon super spook is my go-to topwater. I have not received anything for this review.

I didn't have many top water lures. So I got one of the best. The Super Spook catches fish when they are tuned into topwater lures. Looks good. Colors make it stand out. Highly recommend.

Have used this bait instead of a Topwater popper and had no luck catching anything on it as of yet. I will keep trying because it has good action to it..

Was having a tough few days on the water. 3 days straight of 5-7 hours only catching one bass a day. Yesterday I got this and went out. About 45 minutes before sunset they started CRUSHING this thing. Chain pickerel and bass just had to have it. It casted very well and far. Was bombing it with easy.I am giving it 4 stars though because of the rings that connect the hooks. Several times my line was able to get into the ring, like slide onto it like you would a key into a key ring, while walking it. It may be the braided line I’m using since it is thinner than mono or flouro, but when it would get caught it would mess up the action a bit. Only issue I have so far though.

Within 15 mins I caught a 17’ long 3 lb large mouth base . 2nd one was over 19’ 4-5 Lbs large mouth base in a kayak first time ever . Blew my high hook record . . Highly recommend

I always have these in my tackle bags and they are my confidence topwater baits. I fish them every time I go early morning or late evening and they perform ALWAYS if there are fish in the area. I change out the treble hooks to single in lines and these seem to catch the bigger fish. The smaller fish hit it often too but seem to miss and then the big Boys and Girls get fired up and get hooked. Well worth it if you like to fish topwater lures.

Awesome top water lure. I have caught over a dozen fish on this lure. Well made, sharp hooks.One of my best fishing stories with this lure:I hooked into a a decent sized fish that was giving me a good fight. The line broke, and I lost my lure. I was ready to order another right at that moment, but figured I’d wait until I got home.About 20 minutes later, I hear a fish jump out of the water about 50’ away. I looked over, saw the fish literally spit the lure out. I even heard the lure rattle.Rather than leave my lucky Heddon lure floating in the distance, I put another top water lure on and tried to hook it and retrieve it.After about 15 casts, I was able to hook it and bring it in.I wouldn’t believe the story if someone told me.

They are of good quality and are almost 60% out of the water when thrown... they are of good quality and appear to be resistant.

Love the Heddon Spooks. I have various sizes and they all catch fish for me. You can "walk the dog" or "pop" them, both techniques work well. Nothing like that top water smash from an angry Bass!
