Q: My tire is 26 x 1.95, can I use the 26 x 1.75 trainer tire for my bike?

How wide are your rims? They are 26" diameter, but what width? Almost certainly you could, but if your rims were close to 2" wide and you wanted to go much narrower it won't work. If your tire/rim profile with the 26" x 1.95" looks like a light bulb, then going to a smaller tire should be fine. Keeping in mind that your question applies generically to any rime tire combo, but if you're restricting it to a indoor only tire which will never see lateral forces as you would outdoors, this tire only needs to be supported by the rim with downward and tangential loads.

The 2011 Trek 1.5 road bike uses 700c wheels, so yes, this tire will fit as long as you choose the 700x23 size.

Yes, the 700 x 23mm will definitely work on the defy adv 3. The 700 x 32mm may also work better (more traction) if the rim and frame can support that. I would call Giant to see what the max width tire is that they recommend. It is a durable tire.
