i use this to empty a waterbutt so i can get a good long stroke on the copper end , which is where i think some other reviews have problems , this definitely works but not in confined or shallow depthsthe Mrs uses it top empty the fish tank and it can be a little quirky but once it going its very fast

After reading quite a few reviews saying that the suction wasn't very good and the brass valve would fall off when in use ,my first attempt wasn't so good but after a few attempts I worked out the faster you jiggle the pipe up and down the better the flow with no problems at all and to solve the copper valve falling off I simply put a zip tie around it problem solved , it takes approximately 10 minutes to syphon 30 litres with no spills or fuel in mouth , cracking bit of cheap kit *****

Easy to use & works perfectly. No mess. I put into a 20lt Jerry can higher than lorry fuel tank. Held other end up higher than can. Jiggled it up & down until it 3/4 filled tube then quickly put other end into the(Lower down) fuel tank. It quickly siphoned can dry into tank. Simple. Great tool. Saves my back lifting heavy can & having to hold & pour fuel into vehicles.

I don't normally write reviews but I feel this product deserves it. First use yesterday and worked an absolute treat! The flow is extremely good and and the self priming copper pump worked almost instantly. If I could only change one thing about the product, I would like a tap installed so the flow can be controlled more easily but that doesn't detract anything from this product. 100% recommended
