Lovely sounding cajon. Looks good and feels good. Really nice deep bass tone. Sounds great also when using a cajon bass drum pedal. Has 2 snare strips inside, as well as a little bell which adds an extra quiet jingle when you strike the playing face. Top quality product as always by Schlagwerk.

After looking at a number of reviews for different ones decided this was the one for me. And not disappointed; great sound, value for money and build.

I hesitated before buying this. Looked at all the reviews from all the popular cajon manufacturers, watched endless youtube demos, visited countless music shops hoping for hands on demos, looked at home made solutions, pondered some of the lesser known models, worried, stressed, ordered, cancelled, then ordered it again. Finally took the plunge to find all that for nothing. This is just an OUTSTANDING instrument. Sounds better each time you play it. Very well finished. Looks superb in the corner of any room. Plays like a dream. Sounds like a drum kit. Has a great range of sound, from a deep thumping bass to crystal clear snares. Get one. Can recommend this model without any hesitation, although looking more closely at the Shlagwerk range, any one of them will be a prized instrument for your collection. Had a few acoustic sessions since, and people just can't stop wanting to play it. Quite distracting if you want to get any serious practice in.
