As my desk has a sheen to it, my mouse sometimes seemed to have a mind of its own. I found a random mouse mat picked up from a trade show some time ago but I couldn't get on with it. I thought I'd take a cue from the gamers and get a large desk mat. I didn't want to spend a lot of money as I didn't know if I'd get on with it. What I can say is that it was money well spent on this mat as it's literally changed my working life. Wifey now wants one as like me she is working from home and finds that her keyboard slips a bit. With the size of the mat, you can easily get a keyboard and mouse to sit on it thus stopping keyboard slip and random mouse activity.

The actual mat itself is pretty decent, however the wood image supplied is probably just the amazon thumbnail blown up to a 900x400 size and as such the level of detail is blurry and quite poor.

I was disappointed when laying out this mat. The top and lower surfaces are fine and the border stitching is good, but the mat is so thin that it remains rippled on the desk. I will wait a couple of days to see if it flattens out as it was obviously rolled up for delivery. If it does I will keep it and update my review but if it remains rippled I will add a photo and return the item.

Your browser does not support HTML5 video.  I can’t say if it’s easy to clean because I haven’t even had it for a day but when it comes to comfort and movability with the mouse it’s pretty solid. For reference I have a 120cm desk a full length keyboard with some thick bevels and obviously a mouse and I have plenty of room when it comes to mouse space. The stitching seems pretty decent but for £10 you can only go so far I would recommend buying this as its cheap and overall very good (I got this in black so I can’t say the same for other variations).

I was hoping the surface wasn't just going to be fabric as I've had several of these before. They all seem to discolour after a year around the mouse area. Don't see how this will be different. It has a nice feel and is comfortable but I know it won't last and similar fabric mats can be gotten for less on eBay.

Nothing much to review here, but overall it's a decent product.Smooth edges, no loose material, solid stitching and a good size, covering a large area of most desk surfaces.2mm is more than thick enough for requirements.Delivered very quickly & packaged well with minimal waste packaging.

Great product for the price. Was tired of buying 5 quid ones from asda every 6 months, this will definitely last a lot longer. It was surprisingly thick. Firm but not solid so it feels good on the wrist. I appreciate the lack of logos. The i only issues I had was that there was some loose thread in the edges of the corner (not damaged just extra uncut thread I assume) and the mat does pick up dust and crums easy and it's a pain to wipe of. I haven't tried to wet wash it yet as it's not stained but it is kind of hard to get off without a microfiber cloth or something like that.

I personally picked up the world map with the wooded texture. The colour tone advertised is somewhat similar to that of palm wood. However, the one I received looked like mahogany.The material though is excellent and serves its purpose perfectly. Just bare the differences in colour in mind.
