The Lord Is My Shepherd: Resting in the Peace and Power of Psalm 23

As a person familiar with the sheep industry from Northwest Colorado as well as the wool producers in the Midwest who developed the finest wool for those of us who love spinning and weaving, I found this book a wonderful description of God's love for us. After all, we do need the guidance and interaction that God can give us and we are compelled to follow Him in all His goodness.

To learn about the Bible. Was reading it as ebook but decided I wanted to own the book. Reading it is easy and l find it very informative and is teaching me things I did not know about the Twenty third psalm🐑

I love this book. I love being a sheep with the Good Shepherd and this book just makes it better. I have loved the stories he tells and the true to his own life stories. I would highly recommend this book to anyone. Psalm 23 is a precious psalm and this book brings out so many truths to it. Super.

I really enjoy Rob Morgan’s book. He always has interesting side stories regarding hi life or people that he knows. It makes me want to dig deeper into this Psalm.

The author was very know of the Psalm and made the reading of his book very interesting and informative. Salvation plan for the lost.

I've read a few books on Psalm 23 and this is definitely one of the better ones. Morgan writes from the experiences he's gleaned himself and from others who have shepherded sheep (that is, the 4 legged kind). Each statement is given a chapter which provides sufficient coverage to outline the principles, background and encouragement we can learn and receive.With a strong Biblical basis, including understanding the Hebrew//Aramaic origins of the key words, plus the real life experiences of shepherds and sheep, this is a valuable resource for better understanding this wonderful Psalm's power, beauty and wonder.Highly recommended.

The author writes beautifully about the the shepherd journey - from lush valley, through dark passages, to the table lands, and finally Home forever. I loved the multitude of short stories used to illustrate his points. I really felt the peace and power of this short Psalm after reading this book.

Great little book. Well worth reading. This book was written by someone who kept a few sheep as family pets which is a nice change. So it was a learning curve for them as a family getting to know about sheep. Also some good insights as to what makes a good shepherd.

I have read this book 3 times and will keep it to read again. Brings the 23rd psalm to life by introducing the reader to the life of a shepherd. There are so many insights into what the psalm is really telling us.

This is a brilliant book that breaks down the 23rd Psalm in a way that readers and believers can understand and apply. I have always loved this Psalm and reading this book has helped me to appreciate why and how it applies to my life. A brilliant and inspirational read.
