What's more to say? It's another MIP product. Simply the best!
Over the span of almost 4 decades in the RC hobby I've used just about every brand of screw driver & hex drivers on the market. There was always one brand that didn't wear out or strip the heads of screws and that's where MIP stands out over any other brand. I've been a machinist since 1976 and I'm very well versed on the many different types of steels, how hard they are, wear resistance and chip resistance. All of the MIP drivers and driver bits are made of high quality alloy tool steel (most likely D2) and just as important the tolerances of their drivers are outstandin! The drivers are CNC ground to the tightest tolerances in the industries. If you want the best on the market, buy MIP. Before writing this review I grabbed 7 of my MIP drivers and measured them with a Starret 0-1" micrometer across the flats (the part of the bit that fits in the screw head). To be specific, I measured my 1.5 mm, 2.0 mm, 2.5 mm, 3.0 mm, 1/16", 5/64" and 3/32". All 7 of these driver bits measured within 0.0005" or 0.0127 mm tolerance across the flats. Speaks volumes for the QC department and the machinists that are grinding these tools. Can't speak for anybody else's bits, but to just randomly pick up 7 of mine and measure them and they all hold the same tolerance I would be comfortable in stating that all of the MIP bits are going to be pretty much the same. I don't know what their acceptable tolerance range is but it's definitely very close. I've never measured my MIP bits before but since I was going to write this review, I decided that it would be appropriate before making a claim that I couldn't back up myself. I was actually quite surprised to find that the tolerance was as tight as it is. Being a machinist myself I know that you have to be paying very close attention to your work to maintain such tight tolerances. You better be on top of your "A" game as a machinist and the same can be said for the QC department as well. Sure they are a little pricey compared to other brands that make the same claim but unfortunately can't deliver, but as the old saying goes, " you get what you pay for". If you want the best, look no farther than MIP. I've found out the hard way trying to save some money and bought other brands only to discover that the tolerances were to sloppy, or the type of steel wouldn't hold up and would end up stripping the screws or the drivers as well. The fit between the tool bit and the screw head is as tight as you can have and still fit. Some other reviews have said that they were too tight and wouldn't even fit, if that is the case, the problem is with the screw head itself and not the MIP driver bit. I've never experience this problem myself. If you are using stainless or aluminum screws, they are very soft compared to high carbon content screws and are prone to strip. Please take my advise and invest in high quality tool bits so you don't have to drill out or grind a slot in the head of the stripped screw just remove it in order to save an expensive part of you RC vehicle. I also use my MIP bits on my knives and guns too. I don't usually write reviews but felt this one was worth the effort. I don't get paid by MIP or have anything to gain by writing this review, just though that I could possibly same someone the same frustration that I have faced in the past trying to save money buying cheaper, low quality tools. In the long run the MIP bits will save you money over buying cheaper brands that won't last and will eventually damage the screws or the bits or drivers will just wear out. I've never worn out an MIP driver or bit. Like I mentioned earlier in this review, if you want the best, buy MIP/Thorp. I hope this review helps anyone new to the hobby or even us that have been around for a while. Thanks MIP for delivering such high quality tools and parts that you have been providing to the RC hobby for decades.

Great quality, I cannot stand a cheap tool
Great quality, I cannot stand a cheap tool.RC vehicles and their fasteners can be quite precise and setup can take some time, it’s a pleasure to use a tool that is consistent.Expensive for what it is, yes. Worth every pennyWould definitely recommend.

I'm really not sure why I didn't buy these years ...
I'm really not sure why I didn't buy these years ago. They make removing long screws infinitely easier. The effort and time they save on a race day are priceless. The long reach gets everywhere it needs to with no need for bulky extensions.

Best speed tips out there
I just love these MIP speed tips. Their tools are always great, and the one time I snapped a tip they replaced it for free. If you have rc cars with standard hardware these are indispensable.
