The lid fits fine over the 31 gallon trash can.
In the picture it shows a handle, but their is no handle with the lid.

No handle
Picture and description says this lid has a handle. The item I received does not.

Not as pictured; one damaged
I ordered 3 of these lids and received 3. But none had a handle as was pictured in the ad. All were flat-topped lids. One lid was damaged on one of the edges but the shipping box was fine. It looks like a manufacturer defect rather than a shipping issue. Not terribly satisfied with the other 2 lids since they are not as pictured but am keeping them because the item seems to be unavailable now.

Important replacement
As long as garage men throw these on the ground and neighbors drive over them, these replacement lids are a necessary item. Thank you for making them available.

It took some work, but I got it!
The original one from the vendor was only 16-inches in diameter - too small for the 31-gallon can. I contacted the vendor, sent them their invoice number and a picture, showing it and a yardstick showing its size. The vendor immediately sent me a 21-inch diameter lid, which fits my 31-gallon Behrens garbage can perfectly. The new lid fits better than the original, damaged lid on the can.
