AquanilHC Lotion 1% Hydrocortisone 4 Oz (Pack of 2)

I have been using this cream for about 6 years after getting a sample from the dermatologist. Everytime I try to switch to a cheaper face wash I regret it. Within a day my skin is red and broken out again, even when using dermatologist recommended sensitive skin washes like Cetaphil.The only problem is that about 50% of the time the bottles arrive with the cap loose and cream spilled all over the inside of the envelope. This stuff is too expensive to throw away in the package!

Really amazing stuff! I have bought SO MANY creams and lotions I can't even begin! It's been a life long journey to find some relief and I am very happy with Aquanil HC so far! It's gentle, calming and moisturizing. I mainly use it on my face and arms. I follow it up with Vanicream Lotion http://www.amazon.com/Vanicream-Moisturizing-Cream-Dispenser-Pound/dp/B000NWGCZ2/ which is another AMAZING product. If you suffer from skin irritation of any kind, this is one I would HIGHLY recommend you give a try. So far so good.

The only reason this gets 4 stars is because the price is very high for this lotion. Even though it comes in a 2 pack. I got it because it was a 2 pack and more convenient than going back to our local pharmacy and getting a cheaper bottle for $8.00. But it's great stuff, especially in drier climates like I live in. It really works great for extremely dry, rashy skin. Just be aware it takes many many days of applying before you'll see results. Like 2-4 weeks.

My 80 year old neighbor swears by this cream to moisturize while keeping your skin clear. Try it. You'll never be without it.

This stuff is great! My dermatologist gave me a sample for an allergic reaction rash a few months ago. It literally made the rash vanish overnight. It has no fragrance and absorbs quickly, with no greasy feel. The label says, "for the temporary relief of skin irritations, inflammations, itches and rashes caused by seborrheic dermatitis, insect bites, eczema, psoriasis, soaps, detergents, cosmetics, jewelry, poison oak, poison ivy and poison sumac."

This product was prescribed by my Dermatologist for Rosacea that I have just begun to have. I will be using this item "forever", so I researched and found that this was an incredible deal. As far as the lotion itself, it is doing what it is supposed to do. I have an actual prescription med that I have to mix a little of this with, and the two products, mixed together, have made a huge difference in the redness on my face. Very pleased.
