Safari Ltd. Beluga Whale Figurine - Lifelike 8" Plastic Model Figure - Fun Educational Play Toy for Boys, Girls & Kids Ages 3+

The media could not be loaded. This beluga whale is perfect for my child who is obsessed with marine life and ocean creatures! The toy is very cute and realistic looking. It is sturdy and has some weight to it. The white gets a little dinged up depending how hard your child plays with it, but it holds up great even in the bath. Love it!

My niece loves Beluga Whales and I searched on Amazon for one that was pretty and could go on her desk. I found several that were glass, procelain, resin, etc. and ranged in price from $22.00 and up. By chance I came across this one after I had some figurines in my cart, this figurine is almost ten inches long and textered (kind of a hard durable plastic) and beautiful-the other figurines were very small, 1 1/2 in to 3 in's. I am very pleased with the quility and the price and on the plus side it was Amazon prime.

Not cheap looking and a good weight.

I have the whole Monterey Bay collection, and I use them in my science class for teaching about marine animals and their adaptations. These replicas are great! They also make fun toys for kids, but I don't recommend them for young ones (under age 8 or so). These toys are made out of hard plastic. Their fins are pointy. As a result, you will find that kids see them as suitable substitutes for swords and use them in an all-out sibling duel. ;) That leaves the toys looking pretty beat up, and, in my experience, brings on Mom's reproach. You should only buy these for your kids if they are old enough and gentle enough to appreciate them.

I got this to pair with Raffi’s Baby Beluga book! Bigger than I expected it to be, I was imagining Safari Ltd size. My 17 month old loves it! Quite sturdy because it’s been thrown around and chewed on (by another baby.)

Well crafted toy, worth the price.

This product was amazing, it is slightly heavy but it doesn’t matter it has a huge blowhole and very detailed. I will definitely be buying more of this product:)
