Bought this for my home-office and I am reasonably impressed with it. It provides much better illumination than bulbs. Only slight negatives were 1) When unpacking, the plastic lens-cover was very difficult to get off as you have to rotate it off the base and it was hard to grip the base because it was circular (once the base is attached to the ceiling though, there's no problem). 2) There seems to be a split-second delay after it is switched on before the light actually comes on - some LED lights do this, it's no real problem but still noticeable. Fitting was fairly simple but it's not very clear which wire goes into which connector. Fortunately, another reviewer has gone through this process and kindly posted some images which are very helpful and I recommend checking these out. Overall, a good light for the price.

I got totally sick of the insipid yellow/green glow of the 11W CFL bulb that was in my upstairs landing. This thing in contrast is so bright that one almost needs shades to walk across the landing at night. Time will tell how long it lasts. The curved LED strips inside the fitting are glued to the steel back plate of the unit, so this should act as a heatsink and keep them cool. However, the thing that normally breaks down in LED mains lamps is the power supply. In this unit, there's a cylindrical PSU module in the centre of the back plate, which doesn't look like it will receive much ventilation.

My last Chinese manufactured LED kitchen ceiling light (different make to this one) had just given up the ghost shy of two-years old, so was looking for another version and this TECKIN offering looked good and reviewed good as well.It was a bit smaller than my previous light, but was a bit brighter in Lumens terms and in my small-ish kitchen it gives a very impressive light. It was very easy to install and also looks really nice as well, so very happy with the results.This may be common to all these types of light, but the plastic cover is very thin and flimsy, so just handle with a delicate touch to avoid pressing in some dents!!!I've only had it installed a few days, but seems like a great light at a good price and would certainly recommend if you're in the market for such an item.

Beautiful light, and simple to fit. Mine was more awkward than most, I was replacing a 5 ft strip light. Once fitted, the night is a lovely daylight colour, and it has a good even throw.The light has an almost instant light, with no flicker start. The screws and raw plugs are in the polystyrene, so be careful not to throw them. I used plastic corkscrew style raw plugs with my install, which gives a better hold on the ceiling.Will get one for the bathroom next!

Very pleased with this light despite the fact that I had to order a replacement as the first one that arrived with 2 of it's delicate wires not soldered in place.I have fitted it to the ceiling of a small bedroom which I use as an office.It gives a pleasant natural white light and being 24w LED, is very economical.The illustration shows it as having 3 equally spaced holes for screw fitting direct to the ceiling plasterboard (not a good idea), however when it arrived I was pleased to see that it has been changed to 2 holes diametrically opposed at approximately 3.5" centres, enablying me to fit it direct through to the ceiling joist, without me having to re-drill it.One minus point as that the 2 screws supplied are not long enough for a safe fix through the ceiling plasterboard and into the joist., so a couple of longer screws are needed.

I'm pretty pleased with the light, it's very bright and it has a pleasing diffused softness because of its size. My only regret is that I bought the 4500K model which has a colour tone that's a little more on the cool side than I hoped for, I probably should have gone for the "warm white" one, though perhaps that would have been too warm?Ideally lights like this would let you tune the coolness/warmness of the light (I have a photography light panel which has this feature) but alas it's not a feature of this device.

Good quality and water resistant, great for bathrooms.Produces a decent amount of light and good design for easy fixing.This light brightens up the surrounding area very well. Great LED light, easy to install and has an ‘easy to follow’ installation instructions too. In addition to this, the product has decent quality too.

The wiring connector was not very secure other than that very happy. Looks a bit plasticky (because it is light plastic) but very bright and ideal for high ceilings where you don't want to change bulbs on a regular basis (no need with this light - it's a series of small LCD lights that should last for a long time!). Overall happy.
