Excellent replacement level product.
This product was exactly what the mechanic ordered! I had a small leak on the seam around my expansion tank and it would leak when I would get up to running temperature (about 190 to 200 degrees F). This product is, as the title states, an excellent replacement level product for those who just need to replace the tank. I say "replacement level" only because there are some places out there that do make upgraded tanks that can cost upwards of 150 dollars, and for some people its appropriate to get those, but if you just need to replace it, get this! Also, if you have a 2003 or 2004 Land Rover Discovery 2, this product will fit your vehicle! Not only will it fit, but its about a third of the price of the one advertised to fit your vehicle!

Fits Discovery 2
Looks good. Fits. Seems about on par with every other expansion tank for the Disco 2. I expect it'll last about the same as the others have in the past (including a URO brand I have had before), which is about a year or so or 15k miles for me. Why do these things always seem to crack or have the small plastic nipple break off? I know there are aluminum tanks out there, but why not just a better grade of plastic tank?

Didn't Last A Year
I purchased mine in September of 2019. As for installation, it was a perfect fit. Hooked it up and was rolling, and have had no complaints until now. As I write this it is July 18, 2020. As you can see from the attached photo, the nipple on the underside of the tank developed a crack where the nipple meets the tank. So this literally lasted 10 months. This was sold with a 24-month / unlimited mileage warranty, so we'll see what that's worth. But, long story short, 10 months is all I got out of this. Lesson learned. I just ordered a replacement from Atlantic British for $25 and have higher expectations (where the only remotely negative review was someone complaining "this is my second reservoir in 5 years, I hope this one last longer..."). 5 years is better than 10 months.Anyway, I realize that parts fail. But from other reviews here, my experience doesn't seem to be an isolated incident. I might suggest spending a little more money elsewhere. This is not a part one would expect to have to replace on a yearly basis.

Broken after 2 years (same location as others). Will not last long but an okay temporary fix.
Purchased in September of 2018. Broke at the same location as others have mentioned (from block into tank). This is my 3rd cheap expansion tank finally forked the $$$ and got a aluminum replacement which I wish I would have done right off the start. I would not recommend this to someone who is not particularly and mechanical inclined as it WILL leave you stranded eventually and cause greater damage to your Disco. Would recommend a pinch or as a temporary replacement but it is NOT a permanent solution.

Yes, exact fit -- but didn't last
From a fitment standpoint, this is a five-star product: it is an exact copy of the factory unit. However, the unit I purchased this past spring failed after just five months: the nipple on the underside of the tank (I believe it supplies coolant to the throttle body) developed a crack where the nipple meets the tank: I emailed asking about my warranty options but -- as of two weeks later -- have yet to get a response. Hoping this is was just an abnormality, I bought another one with my own fund and replaced it recently -- hoping that it lasts longer than five months!

VERY HIGH QUALITY AND GREAT FITTING OEM REPLACEMENT FOR A DISCO 2
Very well made OEM replacement (Better, I think.) for a 2000 Land Rover Discovery II. Right time, right place, and most definitely the right price. Easy install. Impressed with URO by this purchase. With hope, it'll last the pushing 19 years the OEM did (which cracked at the neck of that lower tit you see on the right).

Good quality replacement at a good price.
I installed this expansion tank on my Discovery II over a year ago, and I've done quite a bit of wheeling since then, and I haven't had a single issue. I would recommend this product to other Disco owners in need of an inexpensive replacement.

URO parts are a big savings and good quality if you have an older disco
This URO part is an exact fit on my 2003 Land Rover Discovery. This took only a few min to install.URO parts are a big savings and good quality if you have an older disco.
