Great rice cooker
This product is great once you figure out how to use it. The instruction manual could be a lot better, but the cooker itself is intuitive enough that you can figure it out with a little common sense. In case you're not sure, here's what I learned.Setup is easy. Take everything out of the rice maker, wash the metal bowl/rice paddle/measuring cup (and the white bowl if you want to use it later), and you're good to go.There are no instructions for how much rice to measure versus how much water to put into the bowl. I guesstimated that the lines on the measuring cup aligned with the lines on the metal bowl that the rice goes in and so far this has worked well enough. If anyone has a better ratio please let me know in the comments and I'll edit this. The white bowl is NOT used to cook the rice and should be taken out before use. You can store rice in this or use it as a serving dish.Press the button on the front down to start cooking. Once it pops up, you need to let the rice rest for 10-15 minutes for best results. It tells you this on the top of the unit. If you leave the unit plugged in it will use the "keep warm" setting to keep the rice warm.As the rice cooks, the unit will steam from the top. Make sure it's not venting into a wood surface such as a cabinet. This also goes for the underside of the unit. I noticed some condensation and the area was warm to the touch. Make sure you use this on a surface that will not be damaged by heat, moisture, or a combination of the two. Mine also bubbles from the vent a little, and I haven't found a way to get it to not do this so I think this might be normal. Just make sure it doesn't drip onto electrical components.WARNING: When opening, it's best to lift the orange handles on the top and use that to lift one side of the whole lid up. This will vent the VERY hot steam that comes out of the unit to one side (hopefully the side where your arm isn't!). If you're careful and expect the steam, you'll be fine. Some things to keep in mind: When they say rinse the rice off, believe them. This will affect how it cooks the rice. Get a rice washing bowl for best results (they're like $5 on Amazon). Do NOT use a metal spoon on the inner pan. This will cause abrasions that can damage the cooker.

Works great but mine broke
I bought this rice cooker in January, 2021. It made rice very well and it even comes with a paddle (I don't know what else to call it) and a measuring cup for the rice and water. It's very small so it's perfect if you're only making rice for a couple people. Unfortunately my rice cooker stopped working around August, 2021. I plugged it in to different sockets, and it just wouldn't turn on or heat up. Except for that it was perfect.

Nice size!
Great little rice cooker. Makes the perfect amount of rice. No more rice going to waste anymore. The only problem I had with it is it comes with the white bulbous lid(?) that fits on the inside, not sure what it was I put it when cook the first batch of rice and water was spewing EVERY where. When I cooked the rice without, then it cooked fine. So I have NO idea what the white bulbous thing is so I just threw it away. My guess is it's an extra lid to keep the rice warm?? Who knows. Anyways great little rice cooker at just the right size.EDIT: Ok figured out what the that second lid was for, it was a side dish container and you can open it and put some meet or veggies inside and then put it inside the rice cooker to carry around so you have a portable ready to cook lunch. That why the rice cooker has handles, so you can carry it around. I could see how that might be useful. If you want a fresh hot lunch, you could put some meat and veggies in the container, then put the raw rice in the cooker, close it up and carry it to work, then all you have to do is add some water pop it on and 20 mins later you have a hot lunch. Kinda nifty.

Oishii!!!
This is great, its good for camping, travel and lunch. It made it really easy to make rice when I was away from home and it comes with everything I needed. I thought this was going to require a foreign travel adapter but it comes with an american plug. It cooks rice really fast, it seems like fifteen minutes, I actually use this at home as well when I am only cooking 1-2 cups of rice so i don't have to dirty my big rice cooker and it cooks way faster than it as well. The rice turns out pretty much the same as my big rice cooker, but since it is smaller the rice comes out a little softer because I am not able to add extra water when cooking Balsmati rice. When cooking Jasmine rice it comes out better. When cooking only 1 cup of balsmati rice it turns out great though. I have cooked brown, jasmine, balsmati, and forbidden/purple rice in here and they all come out fine. This is also easy to clean and the little pan inside cleans really easy. The rice cooker is also easy to store and I would recommend this to anyone who travels a lot. I also would recommend it for college students staying in the dorms because I really wish we had one of these little rice cookers instead of the stupid microwave rice cookers which were just irritating and messy.

i love this rice cooker
i love this rice cooker. it does leak a little water. i just fold a paper towel and keep it under it. when i do this, there is no water. this makes me believe the water may be coming from condensation. i am not sure. i know this would bother some folks. but i like the rice cooker too much to dock it. i get great rice. the portion is perfect. it is east to clean. it is so small i can always keep it on my counter. it is simple to use.i use it once or twice a week, every week.

Great for price, but...
It makes decent rice for 1 person. But is a bit messy and spews liquid while cooking. My biggest complaint is that it it hard to serve because all the parts are so hot. There is nothing to hold onto to remove cooking vessel. For price, it's great but I might upgrade to get a more convenient cooker.
