Clarifying Cream | To Help Improve the Appearance of Acne-Prone + Problem Skin (1.7 oz | 50 ml)

My youngest daughter has molluscum contagiosum (MCV), it is a skin infection that causes little bumps or pimples. Our pediatrician told us that typically MCV will resolve or clear on its own within 6-18 months and the treatment is worse than just waiting it out. He recommended the Zyderma Clarifying Cream if the MCV started to bother her or if it started to spread to another area. It has been about two weeks since we began using the Zyderma Clarifying Cream and have noticed that it is starting to clear up and my daughter isn't scratching at it or telling me it hurts. So far I have been impressed with this lotion.

Zyderma Clarifying cream is soothing and hydrates. I am a middle aged woman with sensitive skin, who occasionally will get a bump or two, although not enough to use this product for acne care or treatment. I am simply use it for maintenance and moisturizer. This pale blue cream is hydrating and lightweight. I like the convenient-to-use (slender) pump container which allows me to place a small amount on the tip of my finger and place at 12, 3, 6 and 9 o’clock (on my face). Then I spread it evenly. It is free of the usual bad stuff - parabens, alcohol, gluten, fragrance and dye. Seems perfect for all types and complexions. It left my skin soft and hydrated. It was perfect to wear under my makeup (as a base). It did not cause my skin to breakout or cause any redness. My only hesitation in giving this product 5 stars is the price. It is around $42 on Amazon which seems a little expensive for a container that holds 1.7fl oz of product. Although I guess some would think that is reasonable since it should last a long time because you only need a tiny amount. In conclusion, I would recommend using this clarifying cream as a decent moisturizer.

I don’t normally care to write reviews but for this I must. I’ve always had bad skin, but recently it’s just been such an annoyance. I always break out from my period and the winter is not kind to my skin. This lotion is amazing. My skin feels great it doesn’t dry out and it doesn’t increase how oily my skin can be on its own. My break outs are all clearing up and I’ve only been using this product for a few days. It’s the best investment I’ve made.

My teenage son has very acne prone skin. I am always on the look out for a good face cream and I thought that this might be it. Unfortunately the first time he used it his skin turned bright red within a minute or so of putting it on. Then it started to burn and he immediately washed it off. Thinking it might be a reaction to something he already had on his skin he decided to try again a few days later with freshly washed skin. Unfortunately the reaction came right back. While we had such high hopes for this cream he couldn't get past the reaction. I do know that some people have more sensitive skin than others so you might not have the same issue but I would be cautious of trying this if you have super sensitive skin.

Did absolutely nothing for my skin except make it red and irritated.

My daughter's pediatrician recommended using Zyderma to treat molluscum contagiosum (a virus like warts). After 1 day it began to dry out the bumps. Zyderma is very strong though. My daughter's skin turned red and burned when she used it on areas that did not have the molluscum contagiosum. I can only imagine that this would be very effective on individual acne bumps. I would not use it all over the face though- just for spot treatments.

After a week of usage of this cream, I do not see visible improvements. I tried to compare the effect on the two sides of my face, only applied to the left side daily.No visible difference between my cheeks, so unfortunately, I cannot suggest this specific cream. The usual reviews for it are mix and match, some highly praising it, so it might be effective for you, but not for my skin.There are no "active" ingredients listed, the usual ones that are proven to be effective to dry and disinfect skin. The ingredients list copy pasted from the container:AQUA, CETEARYL OLIVATE, SORBITAN OLIVATE, PROPANEDIOL, SILVER, XANTHAN GUMActive ingredient what I am usually looking for is Benzoyl Peroxide, but that will definitely dry out your skin. This product is probably trying to be much more gentle, but it also loses effectiveness in my case.One additional star is removed as this seems to be overpriced. It is a 50ml bottle for close to 50 dollars currently.

Saw this on a "green beauty" blog and was intrigued. I all the sudden had been getting hormonal breakouts (along jawline) and was desperate for something to work. THIS DID IT! You see improvement over night.... YES honestly in just one night! In two weeks it was clear. Now I continue to use this the last two weeks of my cycle up to my period and it works like a charm.
