Good taste
I add these beans to all of my salads. The Buch's is more expensive but could not get a generic garbanzo bean. I found that these beans had more flavor and enjoyed them very much. I think I will change off from generic to Bush's from now o.

Fresh tasting
Bear in mind, I have hated garbanzo beans my whole life. No valid reason for that. They were de rigeur for every ladies' luncheon while I was growing up ('garbanzo bean salad'), so maybe the association with bad taste is psychological. So now you know my bias.My other bias, is loving hummus. So, after reading the review here, I bought these via Prime Pantry, and just fork-mashed my own (ahem altered) version: with olive oil, Harmony House chives (here in Amazon), McCormick bacon bits (here in Amazon), garlic powder, and a generous dollop of Sabrozita Verde (without which, life has no meaning). Oh, and it needs MUCH more salt, so I added a shake-until-you-can-see-it-cover amount of Rajun Cajun. Yum.Let the ladies' luncheons, keep their salad. :)

Delicious
These are great. I’m a big fan of peeling and frying them, then seasoning and throwing them into a rice bowl or with chicken and naan.

Best chickpeas out there. Can’t be beat
I’ve tried the other brands and they just don’t taste as good as these. You can definitely tell the difference.

Many great recipes out there for chick peas these days
Make your own hummus. Add garlic, cumin, salt and EVOO. Blend in food processor or blender. Can be made with tahini for traditional blend. Also you can drain, roll in chili powder, sea salt and EVOO. Bake at 350 for 10 to 15 minutes for great out-of-hand snack. Bush's are a good brand as they are not mushy or taste of "can". I've been eating more chick peas lately and enjoying them.
