Drilled em into the side of our house, for our kayak. Husband came out to help and found that I had completed the task easily without him! Put them up almost 6 months ago and they’re great still!

This product is reasonably well made and does the job with easy installation. The MAJOR PROBLEM is that when I purchased tis item, the site advertised that it is a 2 Pack, 2 wall mounted storageracks, stores two boats on your wall (it has since been corrected, but the marked down price still reflects what the cost is from other sources for an actual 2 pack) when actually it was one rack for one boat. The dealer, Plumbstruck eventually made it right after a lesser offer of half off for the single unit. The other thing is that it says the product brand name is Stoneman Sports when actually what was sent is a Sparehand Systems brand product that is labled as such on the box and the rack itself. The Sparehand brand, also listed on Amazon is an acuual 2-pack.

Fit our 35" wide kayak with no problem. I like the straps that came along to secure the ends.4 stars because the screws should be a little longer since there are only two holes on each rack that will support all the weight.The screws barely made it through the masonry wall into the stud. I think the whole weight is carried by the masonry and not the stud.

I bought three of these mounts for my kayaks, and the mounts themselves seem fine. However, the screws that came with them appeared rusty, and several of the screws snapped during the installation process.

Easy to install, great quality, well made, perfect rack for storing kayak horizontally. Highly recommend.

I was a cheapskate and bought these racks for my kayak to hang on the walls. The design of the rack and the quality of the hardware is pathetic. No matter how many holes I drilled into wall OR STUD, these racks ripped out. Save your money and save your walls DO NOT BUY

The racks work great. Bought one years ago and bought the second one here on Amazon. Easy to install and to put the kayak in/outLove it

5 stars because worked out well for storing Kayaks on wall of garage. Order three sets and was able to effectively situate them one above the other. Straps secure Yaks in place. Used additional padding to diffuse surface contact pressure to greater area of Yaks.Came with hardware needed for installation, screws are kinda cheap though but they serve their function in securing rack to wall.
