Perfect for connecting 2 lines together when they have make fittings

Perfect parts, nice and clean and fast shipping - unfortunately I ordered the wrong size and will have to return. But no fault of theirs.

I needed to connect a 3/8 male power steering hose to a 3/8 male power steering pump. Thanks for the picture showing the inverted flare. The SAE flare seat union looks like a volcano on both sides. The 3/8 fitting threads are 5/8-18. There are other unions with a similar description and a generic picture. But they are for a DIN flare seat that looks like a funnel on both sides. Cant use those for my application.

I am 17 yr ASE master-tech at a GM Master tech. Due to supply chain issues and time constraints, and needed to use this product around 9 months ago. It is my daily driver and installed on a rear brake line. It took 9 months and fractured on its own over time. No a sign of corrosion and I can assure you that it was properly torqued. I could have died!!! DO NOT BUY or you may die!

I would have given this item a one star rating but for the fact that I knew when I ordered that I was taking a chance on what I would get. This was because NOWHERE IN THE LISTING FOR THIS UNION DID THE SELLER SAY WHAT THE THREAD COUNT WAS. This information is critical when ordering this part. Really, this listing is not wrong, it is simply incomplete. The "1/4"" info they give means nothing without further explanation. Is that the size of brake line they fit? Or is that part of the thread count info? Or does it refer to something else about them? They should, eventually, notice that nobody is ordering this part. Maybe they'll figure it out then. The only reason I ordered it was I wanted to get a large selection of fittings to finish a complete replacement of my brake system. As it turned out, I ended up not needing these. I would send them back but the shipping cost makes it not worth it for a part of this cost.

Great quality and a good price. I am very happy with these fittings and my race care is also.. I prefer to buy here than through that big catalog retailer SRE... I get much better service here and less chance of getting wrong part.

I was able to screwed together three straight 5/16 bulk fuel lines with these flare fittings union. The straight bulk fuel lines from the local autoparts store wasn't long enough to reach from carb. to tank so I had to joint three fuel lines together.
