I bought this mainly to use as a night light as I cant sleep in total darkness plus its handy for those middle of the night bathroom visits. I was looking for something that could be plugged into the mains rather than something that had to be constantly recharged.This little gadget fits the bill nicely. It has three levels of brightness which can be altered by touch.There is also the added benefit of being able to charge two mobile devices which is really useful. I've plugged my kindle in and its charging up nicely.I have put it on my bedside table and it looks great. It's no bigger than the echo dot in size and has about one and a half metres of cable.So far I'm very pleased and will update if that changes!I'm upgrading this re view to 5 stars because many months down the line this little charger has had so much use. It charges my phone, tablet, kindle, ear buds and does a pretty fast and efficient job too!

This is a nice, bright LED lamp with 3 brightness levels. You can change it by touching the metal ring around the outside of the light. I have 2 issues with it though.1 - It often ignores me touching it. Trying to turn it off can be really frustrating. I end up having to pick it up and squeeze it and put it down and poke it and whatever else I can!EDIT: I have now realised that this is due to a usb cable being plugged into it then touching the metal body. If the plastic shielding is touching the metal outside of the lamp it can obviously pick up the electrical current in the wire and think it's being Touched, so it ignores further touches, i.e. mine. Routing cables so they don't touch the lamp solves this!2 - The mains cable is directly opposite the 2 USB ports. This means there is no way to have it tidily sitting on my bedside table as there is always a cable coming from it that I cant tuck down the back. It would be better if the USB ports were 45-90 degrees around from the mains cable so they didn't have to run across the top of my table.Charges quickly though! If I run my USB fan and charge my quick charge phone the lamp can overheat and turn itself off, but that's a great safety feature. I've also discovered having the fan positioned so it blows onto the lamp AND onto me it doesn't happen.

I am shocked that someone has put the light is not very bright! Did they not tap it three times ! You tap it once and it’s low light and then again and it’s medium light and then again and it’s bright ! Very simple to use and great next to my bed as I can charge my phone and my watch over night. I am very pleased with this item and it does what it says so I am very happy with my purchase, so thank you amazon :-)

The design and appearance of this product is very nice, it looks great. However it has flaws. The light for the usb socket stays on constantly and means that the light is constantly on the low setting. If the light has been on for a while the touch activation becomes desensitised and difficult to switch off. So much so that sometimes it has to be unplugged to switch off Whilst the device it has two USB ports and states it can charge two devices simultaneously, I tried charging a phone (which was switched off) and an iPad which was switched on but being used only as an alarm clock. The product could not cope, it kept cutting out then turning back on which caused the phone screen to continually light up and the iPad to light up and make the charging sound which made it difficult to go to sleep and probably damaged the. batteries . I raised these issues with the the seller and asked for the products to be replaced or refunded if the defects could not be corrected, I received a full refund, no quibble and not asked to return the products in my possession. I can only assume this is because the faults are known and could not be corrected. In spite of the defects I like them and perform well within the limitations described. If the supplier brings out a new and improved version that does what it claims to do I would buy it without hesitation so let’s hope they do.The light is satisfactory and the product can charge one device adequately. . In effect I got these devices for free (I bought three and they all have the same fault8(s).) but would buy three more if they performed as described.
