I own multiple pumpkin carving tool sets and this one is the best I’ve gotten so far.

I bought this set because I'm sick of the not-so-cheap set we buy, and throw away, every year. My husband mocked me but I'm having the last laugh! The scooper thing scraped my pumpkin clean in record time! It was amazing! The knife cut super easily and felt sturdy. My only complaint is the round hole borer has pumpkin stuck in it that I can't get out (but I'm currently waiting to see if it shrivels up over night and falls out). Even if I throw that piece away, I am more than pleased with this purchase!Full disclosure, my carving skills are rudimentary so I didn't use all of the tools. Maybe I'll work up to it next year.

It took me a minute to figure out how to use some of these tools, but it made carving a lot easier once I figured it out. I wish the gut scooper was a little bigger, but it definitely did its job. One of my tools broke the first time I used it, but it should be a simple repair with some glue. If I were more dedicated to pumpkin carving, I'd recommend a higher quality set. But for carving with the family just for fun, this set is great.

So our pumpkins this year were easier to carve with this kit. I didn't get anything telling me what they were used for so I played a bit with the bottoms. (We cut the hole in the bottom of the pumpkin instead of the top so we don't have to worry about the stem & the light we put in is then level.) The scraper for the inside is amazing. That honestly made the whole kit money spent worthwhile. One of the tools bent while my 7 year old daughter was using it & another the piece came right off the wood so I had to glue it on. Not a huge deal, but the bent piece is no longer easily useable & she's not a very strong little girl. I wish I had taken a picture of them but Halloween was a downpouring severe thunderstorm day this year & was a total bust.Overall I probably wouldn't buy this kit again, unless I knew how awesome the scraper was. It was very easy to scrape out the guts & to make the big thick pumpkin my 8 year old chose thinner & easier to cut so that was a win for this mom!

These were absolutely perfect. A tool for everything. Definitely helped me achieve the look I wanted on my pumpkin.

Several of the tools are useful, but the corers are dead ends at the handle making it impossible to remove the pumpkin jammed in it. Nice case...

Such a quality set of carving tools for just a little more money than the plastic ones you see at Halloween. Game changer for pumpkin carving. Can see year-round uses for these quality tools with clay sculpting or fruit/vegetable carvings for centerpieces or table decor, garnishes, etc.

Bought this set for my Husband and our neices and nephews for Halloween this yr. Some are dual ended, very sharp. With that said, there's Major supervision that is needed for kids under 14.. and as sharp as they are.. a carry bag or some kind of cloth would have been a nice gesture. Came in the smallest brown box.. lol. It's like tetris w/ knives trying to put those tools back in there -_-
