Perfect Fix
The plastic tubing for my refrigerator ice maker and water dispenser sprung a leak that made a big puddle in my basement, which is how I discovered it. I called a plumbing service thinking I'd have them replace it with copper tubing. But after looking at the line at both ends and checking online for tubing options I realized I just needed a line with connections at both ends - everything else was in place. I found this one and after reading the reviews figured I had little to lose by trying it out. PERFECT FIX!!! The only thing I had to do is use my drill to enlarge the size of the hole in the floor for the fitting to fit through (the installer of the tile floor had only made a hole the size of the tubing.). I connected one end to the fridge, fit the other end through the hole I n the floor, then connected it to valve fitting already in place in the water line in the basement. Turned water back on and VOILA, worked great! I then used some staples to nail up holding the line to the floor joists in the basement ceiling. Took all of 15 minutes total. Canceled the plumber visit....$12 this hose vs $150 for plumber??? No contest!

Easy installation.
This Pex line is just as I read in reviews, it leaves no bad taste in the ice like water lines from the big box stores do.I bought it for the refrigerator I bought for one of my rentals. This was my first attempt at installing a water line for the ice maker. I bought a kit that clamps on the cold water pipe. It has a sharp barb that screws into the pipe (make sure you have the water to the cold water turned off). The ice line hooked on to the both connections easy, and it was flexible enough to run through a couple holes I drilled through the cabinets. I turned on the water.....and no leaks, YES!!!I saved big on the installation fee to have the delivery guys hook it up; and.....I am a girl :-)

It worked! Supply line failed, this is better than my big box store options
I went to the local hardware store as soon as I discovered the leaking refrigerator waterline. I purchased 3 lines, but since a junction failed previously which caused the mess I was in, I opted to return their 12ft and 10 ft braided lines. The only 25 ft line at theocal hardware stores came with push connectors and only 1 would screw on the other was a saddle to drill into a pipe. Which is probably easiest for a DIY who doesn't have a dedicated supply line. My home had a ball valve shut off and screw on nipple. I purchased an additional push on connection that would screw on. Sadly the connection that came with the pipe leaked at the push on connection...This line from Amazon had the connectors I needed, and best of all they are already attached and didn't leak. Now this hose isn't as flexible as the store one. Which may make it more durable, but harder to install with only 1 person. A second person to hold the end you aren't pulling through would be super helpful to uncoil the line. I had to stop numerous times and go to the other end and uncoil and feed more line through.I was fortunate enough to have an existing line to tape this line to and guide it through. Time will tell if this lasts. But I am hopeful to not have to do this again. At least the new drywall portion!

Easy to Work With Sturdy 1/4-inch OD Pre-terminated Extension Tube
PEX is noticeably sturdier than CPVC, and the pre-installed compression (1/4") connectors work well (though if you do have to trim an end to send it through a wall or floor, you will need to supply a compression ferrule to re-use the compression nut. PEX also works well with JG press-fit 1/4" connectors (added a shut-off valve, and have it connected to a 3/8" primary supply from my filtration system.)As noted elsewhere, the non-suitable installation cases for PEX are exposure to sunlight (it degrades under UV exposure, don't use for outdoor unprotected connections), and it's not fire/flame-proof (use copper instead.) It does hold up well against acidic water sources.

Good line to bring water up to kitchen from crawl space under kitchen, but ID of line restricts flow
Works good, but the Inner Diameter (ID) of the line is very small and restricts the water flow to just a trickle. I was replacing a 1/4" Outer Diameter(OD) line, so needed to keep the OD at 1/4", but the inner diameter was much smaller then original line and the water flow is just a trickle. May need to replace with a larger diameter line

tried this instead of buying copper tubing
don’t know if its really pex tubing but durable enough. Had a problem with threaded fitting onto refrigerator as plastic only sat on face of connector rather than going inside, so there wasnt much thread to get started. Shaved a thin layer off surface to taper it down and it tightened up just right. no leaks.

Great tubing
Flexible and sturdy water tubing.Bought to by pass the new refrigerators built in filter by using this tubing and an exterior wall mounted filter ( of which I have 4 more replacements). Not to mention the mfr's filter is very expensive!

Ice Maker Connector LIne
Easy to install. I had to cut off one end in order for it to fit through the holes in the floor. Picked up a collet from home center to replace the one I cut off after I ran the line. No taste of plastic. Very happy!

Ready to use 1/4" PEX is great!
As my home already uses PEX for my water supply then why wouldn't I continue with PEX for my new fridge (water/ice). Installation is simple; hand-tighten and then one full turn with a wrench. No leaks. Water and ice tastes great as expected with no plastic tasting or smelling water. Being only 1/4", this pipe is quite flexible and you should consider using mounting clips to prevent movement of the pipe which may lead to leaks due to stress on the fittings. I left a few loops of pipe behind the fridge and put a small wood block on the floor behind the fridge to prevent the fridge from sliding too far back and damaging the pipe. Couldn't find any 1/4" PEX at my local big box store so ordered here. Glad I did!

Great
Excellent product and fast shipping. Installation was easy. Nothing but good things to say about it. It's much sturdier than the transparent plastic tubing it replaced, didn't notice and difference to the water taste (which is good). Very happy. :)

The fittings are attached to the hose
Caught me by surprise that the fittings were attached to each end (even though it shows it in the picture). Had to make the hole in my floor larger to allow it to fit through otherwise works great so far.
