Wonderful story.
I really enjoyed this book. Lucas is a typical guy. He doesn't want to get married. His father has other plans and hires his new assistant. Someone who he met at a college job fair. Amy was perfect in Joseph's eyes. His son took over for him but his assistant who wants to retire has told Lucas this but Lucas doesn't want to lose her. Esther has told Lucas that she plans to retire. She welcomes Amy into the office. And tells her that she knows Amy will fit right in. The attraction between Lucas and Amy is instantaneous. Sparks fly. He thought she was a client but then Ester introduces her as her replacement and Lucas is taken aback. Push comes to shove and Amy is Lucas' new assistant. Their attraction is so very hot and Amy tells herself she must not let it happen. One night she is working really late. The buses are no longer working and so she thinks she'll take a cab home. Lucas says no and takes her home. Though not really. She gets out at a complex that she has reserved an apartment in but it's not ready yet. She lives in a sordid house and the landlord there is obnoxious. He thinks Amy is a call girl and when Lucas shows up with her purse, he demands that Amy pay triple the rent and he is drunk and Lucas takes Amy out of there. His brother Alex helps him with Amy's things. Amy can't believe she is homeless. She supposes she can go to a hotel for a few nights. But, Lucas takes her to his parent's house. They have a cottage on their property and she gets to stay there. Lucas and she have one night of sex. She was a virgin, he forgot to use protection and the rest was history. She moves into her new place. Her job is going well then bang, she's pregnant. She's been violently ill with morning sickness. Lucas finds out when he goes into her apartment and finds her wrapped up in towels in the bath tub. He found the pregnancy test the day before and confronted her. Lucas calls his father to arrange the wedding. Amy doesn't want to marry him but he says that he will not be left out of his child's life. After finding Amy, Lucas calls his doctor. The doctor shows up gives Amy something for the morning sickness and takes some blood. After that Lucas puts Amy to bed but she's still shivering and so he climbs into the bed with her. She settles down and drifts off to sleep. So does Lucas. Well to keep this short. They are married. They move into a beautiful house. Amy starts decorating it and knows that she loves Lucas. Her baby is growing and Lucas is wonderful. One night she whispers that she loves him and he goes still. He can't answer her back, he's worried that she only wants what he can give her although he found out later that she hasn't even used the credit cards that he has given her. One day Amy decides she's had it with him being so lofty. She goes to the office dressed in lingerie only (something that she found that would fit her pregnant body). She goes into Lucas' office and there sees a woman wrapped around Lucas and he appears to be kissing the woman. Amy is heartbroken, she leaves before they see her. And gets in her car goes home and packs only a few things for herself and the baby. She leaves her rings with a note. Lucas comes home and goes ballistic when he finds out. He doesn't know where she is. Then remembers that the car has a tracking device in it. He finds where she is and goes to get her. He explains what happened in the office and then tells Amy he loves her. They both go home and just before Christmas, Amy and Lucas have a little girl. Jasmine Katherine Anderson. Joseph is trilled and planning on his next son's demise into marriage and parenthood.

Lucas and Amy
Amy is hired by dad Anderson to be the executive assistant to his son, Lucas. From day one and from first sight, they are both instantly attracted to each other but boss/employee stops them from doing anything..until..Your heart goes out to both Lucas and Amy for totally different reasons. Love to see them both find what they needed.

Amazing series.Girly Girl love stories. This review tells you which books not necessary to read for series which will save you$$!
I fell in love with Melody Anne writing and of course fell in LOVE with the Anderson Family!!! (reminds me of my family…big & always together; just not billionaires). Less than 5 minutes into the book & you are IN LOVE with the character Joseph Anderson. Hence why I keep reading so many of the series, which you REALLY DO NOT NEED TO…. (all story lines are quite similar!!!!! ) I write about each book but tell you the ones to read & when to stop so you don’t have to waste your money$$$$$$$The Billionaire Series: also known as Billionaire BachelorsBook 1: Wins the game Lucas (Amy) The book that makes you fall in love with the Andersons. Since it’s the 1st book it eatables the tone for the series. Great girly girl love story!!!Book 2: Dance Alex (Jessica) Great book, easy read & yet another girly girl love story.Book 3: Falls Mark (Emily) Another great book that was an easy read. This book #3 changes it up just alittle. Yes it was also a girly girl love story. The next part of the series becomes about the cousins. THE TRUTH, they were fine girly girly love stories BUT YOU DO NOT NEED TO READ THEM ALL. Don’t waste YOUR MONEY!!!! Book 4 was soooo similar to Book 1.Anderson CousinsBook 4: Marriage Proposal Trenton (Jennifer) Do not read unless you are super into the series. It feels like you are reading Book 1 again. Also it was super short & should not cost what it did (sooo not worth the read!!!!!)Book 5: Blacking mailing Max (Cassie) Not necessary to read for the series!!!! just skip to book 7. It wasn’t bad just you will save $$$$ by not readingBook 6: Run Away Heiress Bree (Chad) Not necessary to read for the series!!!! just skip to book 7. It wasn’t bad just you will save $$$$ by not readingBook 7: Final Stand Austin (Kinsey)/ George (Ester)/ the Love of Joseph & Katherine 1 of the best books I have EVER read in a series!!!!! You think its just going to be like the other storylines but it is crammed with soooo much!!!!! Besides the “child’s love story” you have George & Ester AND Joseph & Katherine love story. Other authors as Kelly Elliot, sell a whole new book just for an old fashion love story.Book 7 having 3 different stories with the price it was I keep reading into the Lost Anderson part of the series. At least book 8 isn’t like book 1 & 4!! You meet Richard Storm (Joseph & Georges lost brother )& his 5 children. Which means 5 more books…Lost AndersonBook 8: Unexpected Treasure Crew (Haley) At least book 8 isn’t like book 1 & 4!! Girly Girl readBook 9: Hidden Treasure Brielle Storm Haven’t read yetBook 10: Holiday Treasure Tanner Storm Haven’t read yetBook 11:Book 12:Since I’m so invested & have overall enjoyed the series, I know myself & going to finish the series!

Very light romance with much lusting...
Downloaded this when it was free from Amazon, but I did enjoy it - my first book by Melody Anne. This is a very light & frothy read, predictable & unrealistic in parts, but it was exactly what I was looking for at this moment in my life. There are several love scenes & quite a lot of lusting after so not a clean read. On the plus side, although there were a couple of spelling errors, there are no swear words, which is all too common in contemporary books.Joseph Anderson & his wife Kathleen have had a long & happy marriage. He decides it’s time their 3 sons settled down & give them grandchildren. He hires Amy as his son’s executive assistant & stands back to watch the sparks fly between the two.Amy is attracted to Lucas, her boss, but she’s not willing to get involved with him & ruin her chance of long term financial & job security. He’s rude & demanding, but his touch & kisses steal her breath away & leaves her wanting more.Lucas can’t stop thinking of his new employee & sees red when he catches her talking with other men. He doesn’t understand his infatuation with Amy & hopes that, by sleeping with her, he’ll be able to get her out of his mind & dreams.Unfortunately their one night of passion leads to an unexpected pregnancy, but Amy doesn’t want to marry Lucas. She fears he’ll feel trapped. Lucas has always run away from settling down & getting married, but he will do the right thing & marry Amy so long as he doesn’t love her...This book ends with an excerpt from book 2 “The Billionaire’s Dance” which is Lucas’s younger brother, Alex’s story. He & the youngest brother, Mark sound interesting & fun, so I may get more books from this series, however, I probably won’t read the whole series as there are 12 books in total.

A nice easy read
I bought this book ages ago, as in 2013 and never got around to reading it. Other books just came along that seemed more intriguing. So when I finally got round to organising my books on my Kindle, I thought I would check it out. This book isn't too taxing, only took a couple of days to read. The plot is quite predictable but sometimes that can be quite comforting as you know that you will have a guaranteed HEA.Lucas is a man who obviously enjoys being in control and in some point in time he had his heart broken (this is never fully explained just alluded to), which makes him unwilling to trust the motives of women who pop up in his life. So his father takes it upon himself to find a wife for his oldest son.And apparently Joseph Anderson could give ol' Patti Stanger a run for her money because he finds the perfect match in Amy. Amy has no family, barely any friends and no money. Just right for the plucking. It's a decent read even though it is a little contrived. I don't feel motivated to read anymore in the series as I have a feeling that the rest of the books will be in a very similar vein. Enjoy peeps 😉

Amazing & Romantic
This is book one in the Billionaire Bachelors seriesMeet the overbearing Joseph Anderson. Joseph has finally decided it's time for his three sexy and extremely successful sons to find their brides. Joseph desperately wants grandchildren to fill his mansion and not only later but wants them immediately. Joseph's eldest son, Lucas, is so successful in most areas of his life but the one he's not successful is love, and Joseph decides to begin his hand at matchmaking. Joseph finds the lovely Amy Harper. Joseph deems Amy the most perfect daughter-in-law. All Jospeh needs is to get Amy and Lucas to both realize they're a match made in heaven. The ever handsome Lucas Anderson. Lucas is everything you would expect from a hugely successful family like the Anderson's wealthy, sexy, and very stubborn. Lucas has no desire to have any woman enter his life and causing chaos, or even worse just using and abusing his family's name. Many women have tried this over the years, and Lucas's been very successful in finding out who they are beneath their false smiles. The lovely Amy Harper. Amy was raised in such tragic circumstances and really hates to be pampered especially by rich men who have been handed everything they have in life with a silver spoon. Amy has spent years finishing her education and then Amy receives a job with the Anderson Corporation. Amy takes an instant dislike to her incredibly sexy boss. Amy also finds her boss is very arrogant and thinks that woman should fall at his feet.Amy becomes pregnant after one reckless night of passion with Lucas, that she's so scared he'll take the baby from her and run. Lucas is over demanding, and is always used to getting his way. What Lucas doesn't realise is that Amy has just the right amount of spark to ignite his fuse, and that she challenges him every step of the way.Lucas's father, Joseph, along with his two brothers Alex and Mark, offer a lot of laughter, so much love, and a huge amount of support. With the love and loyalty of Lucas's family, who just aren't only rich and successful, but that they are also kind and giving, Amy begins to realize that being wealthy isn't make or break a man, and finally starts to picture the happily ever after she never believed that could happen herself.I need more than 5 *s but again need to settle for 5. I'd recommend this author and all her books

Sultry, steamy angst and passion at its best!
Passion ignites then reduces to an excruciatingly slow burn. The reason ? He's stubborn! Half the fun Of this book is seeing how he,struggles with accepting his feelings and the subterfuge his father uses to ensure the right outcome. As there's a fair dash of humour this becomes quite entertaining! Loved this - so difficult to put down but oh so worth it! Highly recommended. ❤😍😘😏😉

ENJOYED
A nice easy read, I'd finished this book in a couple of days and enjoyed every minute. In January 2012 I read my first Melody Anne novel and although I really thought the storyline had substance the errors and grammar put me off and I only gave a two star review. After enjoying this so much I intend to go back and re-read this as I believe it has been updated and Melody Anne's writing style so much improved. This I'd like to commend her on.There's a really good synopsis of the book so don't think I can add anything further to that without giving too much away. This book is pure escapism and of course so not true to life, but isn't that why we enjoy them sometimes. Katherine and Joseph Anderson were lovely, Tom had me laughing at times and wishing I had a friend just like him for his happy go lucky character and his loyalty. Lucas was arrogant, but as the story developed you began to realise why and I grew to like him. Amy was vulnerable, hard-working and honourable all rolled into one. I liked her but at times she put her life and that of her unborn baby in danger which contradicted everything about her.
