Great little whisk. Didn't rust, washes well, easy to use. I would buy again.

I was looking for a heavy wire French whip for heavy sauces - and this is not that. This is a fine-wire whip, not a balloon whip, very narrow. The construction looks good, and it is very light. I think this is the one for making light sauces so I will keep it and give it a try for that. The Update International is the heavy wired French whip for thick sauces, gravy etc. so now I have both. The balance point is about 2" out into the wire - the wire being heavier than the handle. The loss of a star is because of the price, about double the larger, heavier, better constructed Update International whip so even though they are different tools, this one seems over priced, but I am not an expert..

I have been working to replace all of my kitchen products with products made in the US, Germany, UK, Japan, and other countries where manufacturing processes and materials are reliably high-grade. I was thrilled to find this item and have been impressed with its quality and sturdiness. I have used it for everything from cake batter to molten candy, and it is always up to the task. Definitely recommend!

Got this in 2018, was fine at first but the wires began to break down over the last 2.5 years and I just threw it away the other day because it no longer worked the way it was intended. Would not recommend

Love these Best 12" Standard French Whips. Cooks Illustrated rated them the best whisk for women a few years back. Light and comfortable. Easily makes whip cream, eggs, sauces in minutes. Can tuck into the edges of pans while stirring sauces. All wires should be rounded. Unfortunately, just received one with the outer wire shaped in a "V." As always, Amazon Customer Service handled the return swiftly!

I love how sturdy and solid this is. The whisk has plenty of wires, and the wisk is long and thin - not a balloon. Perfect for times when you are not trying to incorporate air.

I have several whisk that has a silicon based, but this is my first wire whisk. It's my favorite. I like the length of the base of the whisk. It's slim compared to the others I've seen,used or what I have. I have small hands, so the handle is perect, I have more control of what I'm mixing or sifting. Sense I bought this whisk there only one other small silicon whisk I use and that's to make gravy in my calhalon skillets.I like the wire whisk better then the silicon because what ever you are mixing weather it's dry or wet it slides of the wire, but well stick to the silicon. But silicon work great for not scratching surfaces.

NOT MADE IN USA. I spent more on this because I was wanting to get something not made in China. Unfortunately this is made in China, unlike what it says in the description. Also the handle has already fallen off after 1 week of use. Huge waste of money. Should have just gotten one from the dollar store.
