life of this product is very short --- only 6 month
it had worked only for 6 months despite of cleaning once in 2 weeks..

Pleasantly surprised
I had bought this product not expecting much as it was priced low and a previous low priced pump i used was just giving some basic level of cleansing. So I expected only some basic level of cleaning actio here as well. However this was very easy to install and the filetring was amazing. The water in the tank was very muggy but within a few hours of use it started to clear up. And within a day.it has become crystal clear. The cleaning of the filter is also simple. No multiple layers of charcoal etc. Just a sponge.Only negative was that the instruction leaflet was missing. However there are many Utube videos showing the installation. So no problem.

Stopped working in 1 month.
The filter stopped working in 1 month. the product for starters was a old one, it s was few years old. I still thought of keeping it hoping it would work but as mentioned it broke down in 1 month 4 days.
