First couple times the van shot these backwards (and the ONLY reason why i took off a star, I'll mention ahead), I thought sure these boards would be destroyed. The noise they made, when this heavy, massive vehicle ripped and shot these behind itself, i thought sure they'd be in 6 pieces. Amazingly, time and again, we ravaged these things and they held up without so much as a white crease line or minor failure in any way. The main thing I see people using the boards for, is "bridges" and it's where the boards flex massively they sometimes fail. If you bridge these and just throw a little rock under them, or anything as support (which I'd do with maxtraxx anyway), you'll be fine.The ONLY problem is...we were in packed snow/ice and kept shooting them behind because they no traction underneath, to dig in. What we ended up doing is (for the price we bought two sets of course), we turned one upside down, then sat it on top of the other at times. Complicated but it worked here and there. I have seen people mod max tracks with nuts and bolts going through the front, and I think I'll be modding these similarly. They need more bite on the entry, so the tire can get up on them.For the price though....I mean...you could buy 4 pairs of these and not spend half the cost of a pair of maxtraxx. No brianer if you ask me.

I have been sick a few times and they have not helped me get out. Once in the snow and another in mud. These did not help with extraction.

While these boards have great traction on the top, in contact with your tire, the bottom has very light ridges, so on snow and ice, the tires simply push the boards thru the snow & ice and don't provide traction to the ground. The bottom of the boards are too smooth to get a grip on snow & ice.

I like the fact that they are light weight and can be carried in your vehicle at all times. I purchased them for my daughter and she no longer has to worry about getting stuck. She has used them once now and they work terrific!

No grip on bottom. Makes it slide right from under the tire.

These are great for traction. Used them in the snow and had no issues at all.

Great value for the price, had them for over six months, no issues used them in mud and sand, i drive a heavy vehicle (lexus lx470), these tracks handled all that weight without issues.
