Good. Easy explanations. But paper quality needs improvement.

It's a very easy and nice book but I'm a little surprised because I bought this book from crossword without any discount at 399/- and here on Amazon it's after discount it's 593/- + delivery charges . And it shows 650/- as original price. Disappointing can't trust Amazon it seems now for pricing I guess :(

This book was recommended to me by an acquaintance who’s a professional reader. After studying tarot for ages I’m confident with the wider meanings for each card but struggle making sense of them together. My first point is that what works for one person won’t necessarily work for another. There are so many meanings for each card in this book I found it a bit overwhelming. You would be hard pressed to learn or remember them all, and you can hardly dip in to the book during a reading. So it might be more useful just for reading for yourself. Also some of the author’s interpretations seemed to me to be repeated for several cards. The print was uncomfortably small for me too. On the positive side, a different slant on the cards was interesting and I did find some of it came true very accurately almost immediately. Plus there’s some pretty good more concise stuff in the earlier sections of the book. So I have mixed feelings for this. It wasn’t quite what I expected. If I work with it a bit more it might click for me, who knows.

Purchased this book as I wanted to learn more about the multi facetted meanings of the cards in different readings ie love and relationships, work and career and so on. This book is more than I expected, and gives you food for thought about how differently a card can be interpreted. I think this book is a great addition to compliment other traditional tarot books as you learn the tarot and I will use it for many years to come. Great for short quick answers in daily readings or week ahead spreads. For beginners I would advise using this book in addition to other tarot books as you really need to know the overall meaning of the cards in order to get the best out of this book. Nancy does provide a basic overview on each card but not as much as other books do. Theres definitely something for most people in this book and prompts you to consider other aspects of the cards meanings depending on circumstances surrounding the reading. This book provides 32 aspects to each card from family to fortune and others in between as other reviews have explained. Card spreads and numerology are also covered in the book. There are no reversal meanings of the cards in this book but that doesnt bother me as this is a great book. Simple and easy to follow I recommend this book to any one wanting something other than traditional layout of tarot boks.

This was my very first no nonsense guide to learning about the tarot, when I bought Nancy Garens larger original version back in 1994.This book is the equivalent 'Tarot for Dummies/ Idiots Guide to the Tarot' combined but much better because it takes the reader towards learning how to use this multifunctional tool to answer a diverse range of life's issues. Each Major and Minor Arcana card is explained thoroughly covering 32 categories and like most other books on the subject, includes examples of card spreads. The cards Garen illustrates are the Rider Waite version and I do still like using these cards to this day. This version of Nancy Garens 'Tarot Made Easy' only differs in its more compact size and I really do recommend the newbie, amateur or professional tarot reader to read this excellent interpretation based on the bible of life. Top rating 5 out of 5.

I've been dipping into the tarot for over 25 years now and this is the book that helped me get a grip on the card meanings for the first time after struggling with more complex interpretations or ones that were too brief to be helpful.It's an excellent beginner book because it gives you interpretations for a wide variety of situations so you don't have to apply the complex imagery to your specific question with no experience. Once you do understand better, it's great for a quick reference.It'll never replace other more detailed tarot books such as the fabulous 78 degrees of wisdom or books more related to the specific deck you prefer, but it is really good to have to hand to prompt you and I still use it to get ideas for interpretations and to come up with a theme or structure for a reading. Definitely worth the money if you're interested in tarot and plan to take it further, and also if you just want to dabble.

Great book

I love this book! I was very surprised at the info included in the book. Although it doesn't seem like a lot initially, it is very concise and easy to retain! I use this book mainly for myself but it does help with getting to know card meanings for different situations or card positions. It's one of the few books I keep within easy reach of my cards! :)

Had borrowed a copy of this from a friend to see if it would be helpful and it was so ordered my own copy from Amazon. Very new to tarot myself but this is a very easy, down to earth book to follow. The title says it all really. Would recommend.

THIS BOOK IS AMAZING! i own plenty of tarot books, but this one by far, out-weighs any others i own (and i own too many!) the detailed explination of each card is wonderful. This book has enabled me to give accurate and exremely detailed readings. In my opinion, this is the only tarot book you will ever need.....
