I bought one of these years ago and it worked fine. Even though unavailable on Amazon, can by directly @ $12.95. Costs more than the basic cane. Not getting more at that price!

This is an all around good cane, in my opinion. However, I am not a cane expert and purchased this one to use while traveling for the last few months before I have a knee replacement surgery. I will also be using it as part of my rehab after the surgery and my physical therapist said it will work perfectly. It folds easily and I have not had a single issue or question from TSA when it goes through the security x-ray machine. It is easy to "unfold" and put together, adjusts easily and is strong and sturdy.

I looked at the installation hints on the box, and tried the second of the two methods as I thought that it wouldn't require as much force. The cane holder snapped into two pieces before it was even close to going on my cane.The weather has been bad here, so I haven't been outside using my cane and the return or replace period has expired so I'm just out of luck. The plastic that they made this out of is much too brittle. Too bad, because this seems like a really handy idea; I hate setting my can down and having to come back to get it later because I forget to pick it up when I'm leaving. I'd try it again if they make one out of metal, but that doesn't seem to be an option.

Excellent product! It is great to have both of my hands available again when I don't use the cane. Highly recommend.

It's to thin&don't still on when you move around.
