Skyinger Men's Outdoor Windproof Waterproof Softshell Fleece Snow Pants

I will try to be as specific as possible to help others make an informed decision about the purchase of these pants. I am a 40 year old, African-American male who stands at 71 inches or 5 feet 11 inches. I weigh between 175 pounds and 169 pounds. My waist sizes measures at 29 inches above the hip bone. My hips measure at 38 inches at the widest point. My thighs measure at 23 inches in circumference at the widest point and I have an inseam of 33 inches (along the inside of my leg).When I purchased the large, the pants fit tight around my thighs but they were loose in the seat and especially around my waist. The leg length came down to approximately my ankles and if I wore regular work boots with these pants my socks would not show when I sat down. However, because the pants were tight around my thighs, I did not have much freedom of movement. I ended up returning these and going with the extra large.The extra large fits much better around my thighs and does not restrict my movement. However, they are too loose around my waist. I wonder if I could take them to a tailor and have the waist taken in. Then these pants would be perfect. The leg length is a little bit longer with the extra large. They come pass my ankle and stop just short of my heel. I don't have to worry about the pant legs dragging the ground however if your inseam is shorter than 32 inches these pants might be too long for you.I like the fit of the pants, mostly, because they taper at the knees. When I am riding my bike to work, I do not have to worry about the pant legs getting caught in the bike chain. They are very warm and when I'm riding my bike in the rain they dry quickly once I go indoors. This is the primary reason for why I purchased these pants. I wanted something that I could wear to work when I'm riding my bike that would dry quickly since I work in the Frozen Food Department. These pants are made from similar materials as my Winter Cycling Jacket that is also advertised as Windproof.I hope that this helps...

I absolutely love these. They will work perfectly for my trip to Iceland. I had to get these pants in male sizes because the female sizes simply don't fit me. I'm 5'6 around 180 pounds with large hips and thighs. I got a female XL. The pants barely made it up my legs. I decided to look for the male sizes; I got an XL according to the measurements. When they arrived they still felt a little snug... I sent them back ( hallelujah for free returns) and I ordered the XXL. The fit was perfect! Be advised, if you're a female on the larger side just go ahead and get the male sizes off the bat. It's perfectly roomy yet fitting to my shape. I'm buying another pair in army green!

I wore these snowboarding at Eldora two full days in a row and didn't get wet or cold! And I was doing instructor training so I spent more time sitting and kneeling than usual. Great product! Just wish they fit over my boots, I had to put them over the inner liners instead and got a little snow in my boots. Not too much because it was hard pack but a powder day would be a different story.

Bought these pants for winter night mountain biking, as I have a jacket of the same material and it's wind / water proof and a very warm shell. These pants perform well, with a thermal under layer, I'm comfortable biking in 30 deg weather. I do advise looking at the sizing info, as I wear 30x30 pants and ordered an XL which fits well (a little big).

Pants look great and feel great, but zippers broke as soon as I put them on, didn't even try to use the pockets, just popped open, and the pants were not too tight. Big disappointment since we shopped for this ski trip in December for Christmas presents, but didn't wear the pants until April, so we were in Europe at the time. Now, It's too late to return them. I'll be calling amazon, because I don't think this is fair, seriously the zippers broke on both of our pants before we left the Hotel room to go skiing.

I've now ordered 3 pair of these and they've proven to be perfect for the unusually cold days we've experienced here in East Texas this winter.I've found they run large but their warmth and durability have made up for that - and I am working as a ranch manager on a cattle ranch...

Five stars for the pants, but we realized after taking off the tags that one of the zippers was broken. Disappointing.

First time sent size small instead of large. Pants for my Husband who wears Large or size 35-36. When he got second pair he said they fit, and will allow room for a thin layer underneath only. He likes the quality and design
