This is a Silkstone Barbie. Silkstone is #7 on the Mohn scale of hardness so it is not apt to break. It gives the beauty of porcelain but the durability of plastic.This beauty is more lovely than her picture. The dress is soft and moves with her slightest movement. Her hair is luxurious and can be combed or fixed in an updo!Silkstones can wear all of Barbie's fashions, but they are slimmer in the waist so the fashions will be looser. Silkstone fashions do not fit the regular Barbies.This is a collector's doll, but also fun to play with.
