As I work for a Flooring company I was mostly curious to see if this product would stay in place after installed on a Polished (high gloss) porcelain tile, without leaving a residue. As many homeowners buy polished porcelain tiles (very slippery if wet) it would be an ideal solution for wet areas such as laundry rooms/ shower floors/ entrances/ lanais/ or in front of the kitchen's sink.First at all, is extremely easy to install, its a peel and stick tape with an aprox. thickness of 2 MM. I put a piece on my store's concrete halllway with an aproximate trafficc of 50-60 people per day, I spilled water on it and physically tried with my shoe to move it or remove it. Didn't move at all. Very sturdy and feels like sand paper.I tested the product also on: Hand scraped hardwood floor, high gloss (piano finish) laminate floor, hand scraped laminate floor, textured porcelain tile, high gloss porcelain tile, glue down vinyl plank and Luxury vinyl plank (lock and drop) and a 24 oz polyester piece of carpet. The tape DID NOT leave any residue or marks on any of these floors. Very impressed that the carpet fibers remained intact after I removed the tape.I relocated few pieces from tile to tile and not only the tape didn't leave any residue but stayed in place in the new areas and as I said before this is a great solution for commercial or residential areas, the fact that even a 5 year old can install the tape and the fact that the tape does not leave any residue makes me want to order several rolls to sell them to my customers.Higly recommended!!!!!!

Our wood basement stairs were easy to slip down while wearing socks, so I decided to try this grip tape. We've had it installed for several months now and have had no problems with it. The textured surface helps our feet grab the stairs. There has been no issue with the adhesive failing.It is a challenge to sweep over the tape, because fuzz gets stuck to the surface, but that is not a flaw with the product, just an observation since using. :)*I received this product in exchange for my honest opinion.

We have a 100+ year old home and I'm fairly certain the solid wood stairs to the basement are original construction. They are very sturdy but the wood has been smoothed by time and the edges are rounded, making me always feel like I was about to fall forward going down the stairs. I put this tape along each step and now feel much more secure.Tape was extremely easy to install. Just cut to size, peel the backing off, and stick. I had to remove and reapply a couple times to get it how I wanted and it left zero residue and also kept it's stickiness. Several days later and no sign of the tape going anywhere. I would NOT want to fall down the stairs with this stuff on them because I'm sure the sandpapery texture would not feel good on your skin, but with this tape down you're less likely to fall anyway. No problems walking on it with socks, shoes, or even barefoot. There were no funny smells either when opening up the tape which was nice.Would definitely recommend for indoor or outdoor stairs and ramps.

Decent product. After a few months of use and Florida sun and rain it needs replacement.

I was looking for a way to keep our newly stained deck safe for kids and older family members using our swimming pool. This adhesive was perfect. The lifetime warranty and the fact that it is also removable in case my design layout decisions aren't great. I'm not exactly a professional in laying everything out. Turned out this was absolutely the case and in about an hour the steps and and deck were safe and non slip. With kids splashing and the deck extremely wet the adhesive did not lift either. A great solution.Update 7/15/2020 Unfortunately I had to return this item. The high heat of summer caused the strips to lift and the black strips are very hot to walk on for a pool deck. I'm disappointed as this was a great solution to our need for adhesive non slip pool deck. The company is wonderful to deal with so I left the 5 stars. The product is excellent but thought I better mention I wouldn't recommend it for a pool deck.

Bought this to put on the rungs of a triple bunk bed and also steps on the back deck. Plain and simple it works and easy to replace if it were to wear out.

Purchased this particular product based on good reviews but product was terrible. One good rain after being applied and the strips slid right off (and now the area where it was applied is even more slick than before). I am sorry to say this was a complete waste of money - Gave it 1 star only because I had to give it something and negative stars were not an option.Update: while the product did not work out for me I am increasing the stars for great customer service. Seller was quick to offer assistance in resolving my problems with the order. Offered new product or refund - I choose refund and received it promptly.

I applied this tape to the front steps and inside the garage steps. Even though I had scrubbed the steps twice, the tape did not adhere to well the first time. After scouring again (using a metal brush), the Anti-Slip Grip Tape stuck nicely. And it was just in time as we just started getting more wet weather up here in the northwest.The tape provides excellent traction and does not seem to be peeling or loosening around the edges. Overall I am pleased with this tape. I have already recommended this to a friend in the next town over whose steps need new anti-slip tape. Just remember to scrub the surface thoroughly.Sean Kleen
