Suggestions for setup: usual stuff ; power cord..., to make it work, Scan the Q code in the app, attach to your router with Ethernet cable. Don’t decide you know more than the company that made it ( I did ), once connected , the camera will show up online in the app, go to settings (gear cog) , go to WiFi settings and enter your information . Save it. Unplug from Ethernet , reboot camera. Plug it back up and it will come up in WiFi. Unless you setup with Ethernet, it will not attach in WiFi, I scanned the code , did the wireless search , nothing. , I have half dozen WiFi cameras and all the rules with them don’t apply to this camera.

I was unsure of this camera at first. How could a low cost camera be as good as an expensive one?Well, the answer is it can be. This camera has all the features of a high end camera, great videos and excellent night vision. With the ability to run at up to 25 FPS you get a smooth video. I did several tests of the video quality at the 4k level. Every video turned out great. Even in the IR night mode the picture was clear and fluid. The night mode was good to about 30 feet, which is plenty for most applications.The casing is all aluminum, so you don't have to worry about rusting. The general feel of the camera is it is well made. The only thing I did not like was the location of the SD cad. There is a small door that opens up, and inside is the slot for the SD card. However, the problem is it opens you up to all the electronic portions of the camera. You don't want to accidentally drip something in, like the SD card, as it might damage something of get caught. I would recommend the manufacturer put some sort of shield there where you could only get tot he SD card, and cover up the rest. (See photo, although it is not very clear.)Overall I would recommend this camera. I am going to buy one more now that I know it's performance.

Wanted something to keep a watch over my chicken coops during the night on account of losing some to predators. The camera was relatively easy to setup using the CamHi App. Note, you cannot setup or view the camera without the app. Unless you have one of those devices which are capable of recording IP camera streams. The picture quality is very good - both night and day. The CamHi App allows one to adjust the picture quality, setup timed recordings, setup motion detection alerts along with the sensitivity of motion detection. I found that the camera has great Wi-Fi range. It was able to connect to my router where my cell phone could not. The camera's housing is made of durable metal and not some cheap plastics. Thus, you can install it outside without worrying about the weather. Please note though, you will need to have a 110V outlet nearby to hookup the camera's power supply as it does not have any batteries. Using the CamHi app is also very straight forward. As long as you have either a Wi-Fi or Cell signal, you will be able to access the camera from anywhere and view the live stream. If you have added a micro SD card to the camera, then you can play both the previous timed recordings and or motion detection based recordings. Apart from all this, the best thing about this product is the seller / merchant. I had some issues initially with the image quality where I was seeing a halo on the night vision. After reaching out to the vendor, they worked with me to troubleshoot the problem to the point where they ended up having to send me a replacement unit. They continued to work with me until the issue was resolved to my satisfaction. I don't believe that there are too many vendors on Amazon that are willing to go the extra mile. So in closing, I would definitely recommend this product to anyone who is looking for an easy to use camera that provides both day & night vision, is easy to setup and easy to use from practically anywhere. I will be buying additional units to install around my property.

After my delivery was missing from lobby for a couple of times, I started looking for an outdoor security camera. Don't want to spend a fortune on it so I aimed at a price range under 70. This is my second one, comparing with the first one (same price range), which I move it to my backyard, I like this one much better. It has everything you need to install, (well, not if you need to drill a hole in the wall). I will be happier if TF card is included, but I understand during my research, I barely see any carrying TF card. It took me a few minutes to find the app, but the set up is pretty easy. Interface can be more complicated, but it works for me just fine. Image is sharp, night vision is clear. In all, for this price, I am happy with what I got.
