This book is great!!!!!! Very good info on Dim Mak and goes into detail about the Chinese time pattern of when dim mak points are at there weakest time of when there more susceptible to increased damage. Also shows the Western time table. And goes into detail on some zen training based on the 72 consummate art secrets of the Shaoilin to make more dim mak skills more effective. To further increase your knowledge though on dim mak you'll need more than one book and dvd. But this book will definitely take you one step deeper into the ancient wisdom of Dim Mak secrets. To further your knowledge on Dim Mak I recommend more than one book by "Erle Montaigue". He has a book on all the dim mak points that relate to all the various organs but you'll need another book where it goes into the governing vessel and conception vessel meridans to put the knowledge together for healing and combat wisdom. Al Perhacs has great info as well on Dim Mak to further increase your knowledge. James Lacy from ironpalm.com has really good knowledge on Dim Mak and his 7 dvd set called "Bak Fu Pai Dim Mak Dvd collection". All in all with any thing that relates to the arts rather it's being a doctor, martial artists and etc. It always takes a host of sources to become more enlightened and more effective in your art. Seeking knowledge until we pass on to the next life into the spirit world is the key to become more and more adapted and more advanced into any art. This book will definitely take you deeper though into dim mak and what I liked about it so much that it mentions some training for dim mak to make it more effective in actual use. To be effective in dim mak takes external and internal training combined.
