COLOUR ME MINDFUL: TROPICAL Paperback – 30 July 2015

This is a lovely colouring book featuring a wide variety of tropical images, including animals, birds, insects and flowers. The pictures are intricate but not fussy. The pictures are printed double sided but the paper is thick enough to take felt pens as well as colouring pencils without showing through. The book is smaller than the majority of adult colouring books on the market but that just makes it a cute, handbag sized volume.

Bought this as a package with CMM 'Seasons', 'Underwater', and 'Birds'. New to this adult colouring lark I find a lot of larger designs very daunting and too intricate, so as a beginner 7" square illustrations are a nice starting point! Paper is good quality with no bleed through even using gel pens which I favour for my 'masterpieces'!

Nice quality book with decent pictures to colour in. The pictures are on both sides so may be a problem for those who use felt tips (I use gel pens + they do not go through to the other side). I think this book would be more suited to a beginner as the designs are very simple.

Very nice book, and for the price, cannot be beaten. I use it to practice my technique, and try out new materials etc.It also has some lovely images to keep. A good first book, or one to carry with you on your travels. An excellent buy.

Cute little book, it's giving me hours of fun and relaxation. I'm using water based fineliners in it, and they do shadow ever so slightly, especially the darker colours, so the paper could stand to be a little thicker but overall, I'm happy with it.
