The new Q-STAR TOUR is a premium, 3-piece golf ball with a tour urethane cover and lower compression core. It was designed especially for skilled golfers with moderate swing speeds who demand the performance and feel of a tour ball. *Dozen includes sleeves of #1 and #2 golf balls only.

Found the perfect ball for low-teens handicapper
I had played Srixon Soft-Feels a while back but the ionomer cover was too easy to scratch. I then switched to Pro-V1s becasue I had always seemed to hit them well when I found them or got them as gifts. Looking for a cheaper alternative, I switched to the Srixon Z-Star which is designed to match the 90-compression, eurethane covered Pro-V1.The Z-Star played well, but after doing more research, I decided to try the Q-Star Tour. It has the same cover as the Z-Star, but is a slightly lower, 75 compression. Now I feel like I am getting all the advantages of the Z-Star and the Pro-V1, but I am adding 20 yards to my drives (from 230ish average to 250ish average). So, at $2 less per ball than the Pro-V1s and 20 yards more distance, I've found my golf ball for the foreseeable future.IMPORTANT NOTE: Be sure to get the Q-Star Tour. The regular Q-Star has the ionomer cover, which scratches way too easily.

Best ball in it’s category by far!
The Q Star tour has all of the characteristics of a premium tour ball. I usually use tour balls from the top manufacturers, but this ball is as good for almost half the price. I am a six handicap and it is long off the driver, has great feel and checks very well on the green. Srixon designed this ball with better players in mind as a lower price option and I feel they hit that market dead on. My driver swing speed is a bit over 100, and this ball flys as far as far as the pro V1x, TP5x and every other top ball I have used. I always use it in cold weather due to it’s softer feel as well. I feel this ball is the best kept secret on the market. I hate to contribute to increasing the demand on this ball but it is just a terrific product. Though marketed as for moderate swing speeds, I play with several guys who have both higher and slower swing speeds who also feel as I do about this ball. I also like the bright white finish and how the cover holds up due to the urethane. A dozen of these balls can be found for as low as twenty dollars and you cannot get a better value and such great playability anywhere!

Really enjoyed playing this ball
I really enjoyed this ball. It seemed like I had better control with this ball and had a great feel off my irons. I'm hesitant to always give 5 star reviews on products but this ball has few flaws. Has a great sound while hitting it, flies really straight, seems to get good distance for a softer ball. My only complaint is that it isn't the softest ball I've played and expected it to be a bit softer than it is.One thing that was just excellent was the spin I was getting on this ball using my irons. On most of the higher irons (7-pw) the ball would just stop right where it fell or a foot from it. Really impressed with that. It was one of the first times I was able to drop the ball right onto the greens without having to predict the ball roll.Overall I can't imagine someone being upset with the performance of this ball.

Q Star Tour is the real deal for me...
I've played Z Star XV all summer through the fall and decided to give the Q Stat Tour a try as the weather cooled. It's a surprisingly fast ball for me. I was impressed how far even mishits on drivers flew. A solid driver hit was definitely as long if not a bit longer than the Z Star XV. Ball flight is about the same but mishits on drivers seem to sky a bit but the carry is still there and you lose very little yardage. Irons and short irons launched nicely with a mid high flight and held the greens nicely. In short, I cannot see any spin performance difference between the Q Star Tour and the Z Star XV, I did notice a little longer carry with the Q Star Tour even in mishits. The softer feel does need getting used to with the putter...Will play the Q Star Tour through the winter season at the minimum...

Nice ball
I did not buy the most expensive Srixon because I was looking for a ball that was really good but did not carry the heavy price of a Pro V1 or similar. I used to play a LOT of golf but gave it up 20+ years ago due to an injury. I am starting to play again and wanted some lower priced balls that had a nice feel off the face (such a ball did not exist 20 years ago. You either hit rocks or bought top quality balls). These met my demands. They are soft off the face, friendly on the green and quite durable. They travel about as far and straight as any (and no…they will not straighten your duck hook or monster slice). If I was good enough I would be willing to cough up the big bucks for premium balls but the Srixon are really quite good.

Fantastic ball
I bought a dozen of these balls and played with one ball the entire round without the need to switch it out as the ball held out really well w/ very minor scuff marks w/ my 107 average swing speed and a 6 handicap golfer. The ball is long at about 10 yards longer with the driver and about 5 yards with the irons. It does not checked up like a Pro V1 but enough to stay on the greens. I played with softer balls for better feel around the greens and it took me a whole round to get the feel for this ball but once I did, I could controlled in better. I will switch to these balls to save money from the premium balls.

Very surprised!
I've been a ProV, Callaway Chrome Soft and TP5 user for years and saw this fathers day special. $14.00 per dozen, 2 dozen min. I tried them and couldn't believe the the distance and spin on the greens from a value priced ball! I ordered two more dozen at the same price as the special was still on. Now they are close to $30.00 but in my opinion between $15 and $20 dollars cheaper than the others with outstanding performance! Sticking with them. Spade in picture on ball is my Golf Dotz marker.

False advertising. Didn't ship what they pictured ! Sent old version of the ball
My first order of this ball was filled as advertised. New version of the ball. Box has NEW right on it - as pictured by Amazon. My second order (a few months later) was filled with the prior version of this ball. Not acceptable; I want what was pictured/advertised - not the old stuff hanging around the warehouse. The balls perform differently.

Box does not match with description!
I read it somewhere on the review thread that the box does not match with what is used in the description. But I took a chance at this b/c I liked the price point and Srixon Q Star tour was a ball I wanted to try out.I am sure no one would attempt to make counterfeit Q Star Tours and the feel of the ball was legit (Urethane cover was soft and what I am used to seeing on a premium 3 piece ball).First of all, the box looks and feels legit as well. It is just missing the red "NEW" sign at the top left hand corner. So all I am asking is make sure as a seller, update the picture of your product! I hope when I play this on course, the ball feels like a genuine product. Will keep you posted if otherwise.

Good all around ball at a low price.
I have about a 90 clubhead speed with the driver and this ball worked well. Good distance when solidly struck. Nice feel off the irons and on and around the green; not like hitting a rock. Soft feeling but not too soft. Very playable. I would definitely recommend.

Good value for the price
As good as any other ball on the market at this price.P.-S: There is more difference in two of my swings than there is between two different makes of golf balls !!!
