KraftMac & Cheese 7.25 Oz, 5 Ct

This stuff is easy and fast to prepare and works out to less than £3 for a 750 cal meal. If you aren't American or you haven't been raised on this stuff don't bother. This is great depression era cheap food. The cheese tastes very fake and chemically, in the UK we have so many types of real cheese that this will be vile to most British people. This is why it really just isn't sold here.That said, I was raised on a lot of American style food, and so I secretly love the plastic cheese in certain cases. It melts with such a chemically ooze that it just works in mac and cheese, where real cheese will just separate into oils and resist becoming one creamy florescent yellow blob of mac and cheese, which is what we want.

I have to order this from time to time because I grew up in Canada eating this as a kid, and it's like a craving for me. I can't find it in shops over here in the UK so I order here. I think this is one where you either love it or you hate it, and I absolutely love my neon orange Mac and cheese I don't care what anyone says it's so good!

I'm English but grew up in New Jersey and absolutely lived off this stuff after school when my Nan was at work. It's nice to be able to get it for £2 a box on here compared to the scandalous £4-5.99+ they charge in the American sweet shops here in Liverpool.I can honestly say it tastes exactly as I remember, albight less yellow but that'll be UK regulations on certain colourings/dyes etc.. It brings back memories from 20 years ago.I'll be buying again and again. Thanks Amazon.

It looks just like the stuff from America which is great! Very excited to try it. However, they expire about 2 months from when I received them which is much shorter than the normal amount of shelf life left at purchase when you buy a similar product in a store. Because the product is very expensive (which is reasonable given it likely came from America) it will be used as a special treat, thus the relatively short shelf life is a bit disappointing.

I've tried so many different mac and cheeses but nothing compared to Kraft. I grew up on this stuff and it's honestly my favourite. Much money has been wasted trying to get the legit stuff and thankfully this is it! Getting 5 boxes at a time is a bargain too.It's the tangy, rich, orange cheese sauce. The US stuff, for sure!

First box I cooked immediately turned into a starchy, gelatinous mess. I have never seen this before in all my years of making KD. Like the noodles we're disintegrating as soon as they touched water. It was completely inedible. I made some other noodles I had without an issue, so there is something wrong here.
