My Daughter, I Love You and I Believe in You

This book is the most stunning book I have ever read and it portrays my feelings for my daughters perfectly. I think it is more aimed towards an older child because of some of the parts where it talks about them venturing into the unknown and not quite for her current age of 10...But I could be mistaken.

My daughter and i had a great laugh reading this together. I'm not sure cuddling anyone out of their comfort zone is a good idea! Not quite what i was expecting. We didn't feel the tingle !

I thought from the cover, that this might be good to get for my 8 year old daughter for Christmas. Would have been helpful to know that this actually cover a daughter live into adulthood. Liked the message. Also, it's a bit small for the price.

My daughter is 11 yrs old and has a twin brother, and she was feeling like she had to compete with him for my attention and love (Preteen angst)., but I listened to her and I had this book saved on my lists for months and after a heartfelt talk with her, I knew that she needed something that expressed how much I cherished her and believed how special and amazing she was- when I gave her the book (with a lovely inscription) she loved it! I figured she might look at it and then maybe read a page or two, but 2 hours later, she came to me crying and hugging me after having read many pages.I have always loved the illustrations of this artist and had her calendars and amazing "feel good" message for girls and women - so, I am so happy that it was received as I had hoped. There is nothing like a bond between mother and daughter and sometimes you need a book like this to deliver the message. Thank you!!

Most important, my daughter loved it. she called me and we enjoyed having her read almost every page. since I sent it straight from Amazon, I did not know what was written in it. She had been having a bad time and the words were very comforting for her. Then I ordered one to keep here at home. I enjoyed reading it too.

My daughter just got it and said she loves it. It was a birthday present!!! She is a grown woman!

I gave this to my daughter for her birthday, and I also wrote in the pages of things that reminded me of her when she was little. Good reminiscence.

My daughter said it arrived on a day where everything seemed to be going wrong. She said it made her stop and take a deep breath while she read this.. When she called me she ask how I knew she needed it.

Tear jerker. Happy tears. I read all pages before giving it to my daughter. 100% “relatability.” That matters a lot. I even highlighted parts and added notes. My daughter is 23 years old and gave it as Christmas gift. She loved it and read all. I think it’s best time to give it when they are more mature and really appreciates the value of motherhood.
