Lumixyl Brightening Treatment Pads, 45 Count

I think this is a new name/packaging but in any case I think that my sun spots have lightened since using this product.

I'm on my second bottle of these pads and I love them. They have helped with my hyperpigmentation. I really wanted these to work so I've been committed for two months now and will continue.

I'm not sure exactly when to use this product. I did have (what I consider) too many dark spots on my face, and I've been using different products over the years to lighten them. Within the past two years, I have seen those dark spots lightening. I do currently use Envy's Medical Trifecting Night Cream a few times a week, and I feel that I am seeing results. So, why add this to my regime? I do not notice it giving me any better results.I'm thinking these pads are overkill for someone using Envy's other products for brightening and lightening. Maybe it's for people who are in the habit of using cleansing pads? These are not cleansing pads, but a way to add a brightener to your regime if you like using pads. Which seems a bit like walking around the block to get to the house next door.....And I'm not sure how these pads exfoliate. And they have very little moisture in them, and they are not refreshing and do not seem to hydrate.I found this interesting: There is a link on this page under the heading "Find A Professional". I'm not sure what type of professional would be recommended, as there were none within my zip code. But it seems to be a new feature on Amazon. Maybe these Envy products are sophisticated enough to be recommended by dermatologists in their professional capacities? Maybe there is too little information provided on Envy's product pages because the more normal way to hear about Envy's products is through your dermatologist?

My wife and I have been using the Envy Medical Lumixyl Brightening Treatment Pads for about a week and have definitely noticed a difference. The pads provide a deep clean that leaves the face looking smooth and shiny. Unlike mainstream cleansing pads, these feel more therapeutic, like medicine for the skin. It does a great job restoring a more youthful epidermis with its ability to address imperfections like blemishes and patches. So far, regular use has helped fade signs of stress and aging by supplanting uneven tired skin with a more smooth, sheen surface. I would compare it to feeling like you just washed off a really good face mask but with more lasting resultsMy wife says these pads have left her with soft, smooth skin that looks as though she puts light foundation on it. I concede, it has made her look like she has make-up on even if she doesn’t. She is very impressed with the smoothness, shine and radiance that suggests good self care and a healthy lifestyle. She also likes the fact that the pads do not irritate her sensitive skin. Upon application, the skin gets slightly tingly, a sensation that energizes and feels as though it’s lifting toxins out of the pores. I wish the pads were a little more substantial however — they crumple easily during application. I really didn't know what to expect from this product- Envy Medical Lumixyl Brightening Treatment Pads, as I don't really have discoloration or dark spots on my face, but whose face couldn't use a little brightness and radiance, which is supposedly the objective in using this product, but frankly I didn't notice either of those things when I looked at my face, after using this product.My face didn't feel any more hydrated either. The treatment pads are supposed to exfoliate, and clean away oil and debris.The jar came sealed, but the treatment pads inside, which look EXACTLY like acne treatment pads, thin and round, were only very slightly damp, which is probably hugely responsible for the reason WHY I noticed no improvement in the appearance of my skin. If the treatment pads are barely damp, how are they going to do anything for your skin, much less improve it? No side effects with using these treatment pads, how could there be?Frankly, I find the information on this product to be overstated, and misleading.No, I do NOT recommend this product!

I used these facial pads twice a day for every day since they were delivered. Unfortunately, I noticed no change in my face's appearance. I do think I have been pretty lucky with how I'm aging, so it very well may be that these would greatly affect someone who is in more need of them. I did like the way they felt while using them, as well as the way my face felt afterwards. They also helped get the last traces of makeup off after washing my face. I would not repurchase, but I didn't hate them.

Face cleansing pads feel like they do so much more than simple soap and water. The pads I normally buy seemed sufficient until the first time I used one of these Brightening Treatment pads from Envy Medical. The amount of gunk on the pad was a surprise compared to what I see using my normal brand. The pads are soft but have a texture that I can feel when scrubbing. Compared to what I was used to using, these Envy Medical pads can ball or roll up under my fingers as I wipe because they are thinner. It's the only thing about the pads that I don't love. I don’t have hyperpigmentation or discoloration, but it does run in the family, so I think that it’s awesome that these inhibit dark spots from developing. I love that these pads will keep away discoloration while making my face feel really clean without drying it out. If my opinion changes, I’ll update my review, but right now I’d easily recommend these for their cleaning power and for the way that they leave skin feeling.
