Inferior to the Quirkio phone stand but still okay.
I initially wanted to re-order the Quirkio brand phone stand which is identical in design to this stand. I had ordered several Quirkios but lost one so I wanted to replace it. The Quirkio is no longer available of course but I found the iKsee which looked like an exact replacement. It's inferior to the Quirkio in some big ways, the metal is much thinner making the stand far less stable especially for a Galaxy Note like I have. And the rubber pads on the bottom and cradle are smooth instead of soft and gripping. *UPDATE* There is a thin film that must be peeled off the grippers to make them grip. The iKsee is also smaller in size making it much less sturdy. I'm still disappointed as this one isn't nearly as good for the same price I paid for the Quirkio. Still an okay phone stand though.

Flexible stand works great
I bought this to hold my phone while on FaceTime so my hands are free to work my keyboard. It is the right height to frame my face while chatting with family. It has some small white cushion material stuck on with adhesive that does not work well so I have this only 4 stars. It does not effect the functionality of the stand. Since I have a case on my phone these little bumper stickers are not needed. I would buy again.

It’s okay...
It does the job of holding my iPhone up so that I can easily see the messages that come up without having to stop what I am doing. Con: the base is light, so I had to get a small but pretty heavy paperweight to keep the stand from toppling over.

Stand slides all over the place. Otherwise good.
The pads on the base of the stand slide on my desk like ice skates. Will have to spend at least $7 more to get non-slip pads. Why an otherwise great product does not have a non-slip base is beyond comprehension.... unless of course you never touch your touchscreen.

Won't fit phone with a case
This stand is very sturdy. I like that it's adjustable. But I have an LG G4 with a case and it won't fit on the stand upright. It fits if you turn the phone sideways. That's why I gave it 4 stars. Wish it worked...cause I really like the stand.

Exactly what I wanted
I use this to put my cell phone when recording videos during karaoke. I need to put a rubber band to keep the phone on it because I need my phone to stay straight for recording live video. This is perfect - small, discreet and sturdy.

Works great without a phone case
I have an IPhone 10 and the stand does not hold it very well with it in an Iphone case as it is wider than the edge where the phone rests. It is sturdy however.

The idea is nicer than the product.
The product isn't tall enough, and you can't use the product if you have the extremely functional pop socket on the phone. I customized mine with a coat hanger and now works fine.
